    I don't work, but generally it's recommended that if you are bottle feeding a BF baby that you give max 4oz at a time. It's possible to over feed by bottle. So start at 2oz & go from there.

    My LC recommended 3 oz per bottle for my 1 month old (we're just introducing one pumped bottle per day in preparation for returning to work in a month). She said to have an extra ounce ready for if she seems hungry soon after the 3 oz bottle, but we haven't needed it.
