How's everyone?

Last night I woke up 4 times because I involuntarily vomited in my mouth due to heartburn. Wanted to call out of work so badly but have a deadline today

I'm gonna try to leave early.

I've also started to have quick pangs of pain in my low pelvis, kinda near my bladder but lower. Doc says its normal. I don't believe it's Braxton Hicks. Anyone else having this? DH wants me to call doc but I literally just asked her about this on Tuesday. When I lay down its fine - they only occur when I am standing walking or sitting and there's no regularity to the pains.

I have these pains and they seemed to get better when I stopped working. Hope you find relief soon and get to cut work early!

Weird day so far. I had a bit of insomnia around 4AM, then woke up with heartburn (abnormal for me), had a contraction - which lasted 50 seconds, but I've only had one and it's been about an hour since -, and baby's being much less active than usual. She has moved a bit, which set my mind at ease, but it's really unlike her not to be a little jitterbug in the morning. I think everything's ok, but all these abnormalities (for us, anyway) are really throwing me off. It helps to know that they're not out of the ordinary as far as everyone else goes, so I'm trying to stay calm, but I'm definitely on alert for signs of labor.

Still no Braxton hicks for me! I'm going to assume this phenomenon is just some flight of fancy made up by the bump. Been managing my heartburn with regular Pepcid 2x a day per doctor's recommendation. So doing better except when I forget them, then I'm all puky and burny too. DS favors left side and boy does my pelvis hurt. Missed 1/2 of a breastfeeding class b/c I got sent to the wrong location so boo. 7 hours of sleep woo hoo! 10-5am!

I had a new symptom last night...my bladder was paralyzed. So weird. So I got up to pee at o'dark 30, sat down, felt the urge, but nothing would work. There was more pressure down south than usual too. I had to stand up twice and sway my hips to get things to work again. Freaking weird. Not sure if LO was resting on my bladder or what, but I could do without this symptom in the future. Other than that my typical symptoms are still around: occasional numbness in my hands, swelling in hands and feet, cranky, tired, and rib pressure. Oh how I love you third trimester.

I had the worst reflux last night. I took a Pepcid before bed, since we had spaghetti for dinner and I anticipated the heartburn. Actually flipped the light off a little early, around 10:30 and was excited for some extra sleep. Around midnight I woke up because I burped acid in my mouth. Took a Tums, and an hour or so later burped acid into my mouth and nose! Took another Tums, and realized laying down was a no go. Contemplated going to the recliner upstairs but that seemed so far away at the time, so I propped myself up to sitting in the bed and kind of dozed off into shallow sleep until three or so. Laid down and got a little sleep in before the hub's, then my alarm later. I've never had a night like that. I didn't eat dinner Tuesday night and slept great. Maybe I should stop eating dinner.

My tummy is all sorts of jacked up today, as well. I miss Pepto Bismol. But at least I'm finally hungry, so that's a hopefully that's a good sign the rest of my day won't be so bad.

I'm definitely ready for five when I can go home. I'm exhausted.

Burning ribs and a reoccurring twinge in my back keeps flaring up. Other than that, today isn't too bad. I think working from home makes all the difference. My bosses were out this week so i've been taking full advantage. Looking forward to doing it again tomorrow and Monday for my next check up. Cannot wait to meet this baby and feel a little relief (and a whole new slew of pains hahaha)

I felt pretty well rested this morning... Odd since I am pretty sure I used the bathroom around 8 times.... Starting to feel sore from sitting but walking is uncomfortable too...

@Mommaswizz - working from home certainly does make all the difference! My main discomfort is soreness of my hips from sleeping on them.

Is general crankiness a symptom? If so, I have it in full force. My MIL keeps calling to ask when baby is coming so she can make travel plans for next week. My original due date is Memorial Day and I feel like that is more correct and baby will likely come sooner. My doctor is keeping an eye on things but is not inclined to try to estimate anything. All 3 of the other grandkids on that side were scheduled csections so they don't seem to get that I don't have an answer. I'm tired of answering this question and trying not to explode since it's the 4th time this week they asked.

Other than that rant, my symptoms are about the same other than some intense lightning crotch that happened repeatedly last night.

@hoodoll82 I've been having those same weird pains. It started yesterday. I have to walk pretty far to get to my car at work and I wasn't sure if I was going to make it. As soon as I sat down it eased up. It's only happened a few times today but I haven't gone to work yet so I'm hoping it won't be as bad as yesterday. I'm trying to take it easy until then. The end is in sight ladies!

@hoodoll82 I also was feeling painful in my lower bump sometimes. They would be fairly sudden, and kinda felt like I pulled a muscle, but not exactly like a muscle tear, a mix of that and something different. They were definitely painful enough to acknowledge with a grunt and a hand to that area to press and try to make it feel better. I also only got them when I was working, I'm pretty sure I've never had one when I'm at rest. Once I got home from my shift I'd lay down and not have any more. But once I had one at work, I'd continue to have them until I could go home and rest. They were actually one of the reasons I left work a little earlier than I intended. I don't know what they were, but they hurt and only happened there.

For me today - reflux all night last night. Kept me up for a ways, then I finally fell asleep but know that I kept having it cause I woke up with the taste in my mouth (yum). Tired. No tummy issues yet today, I'm sure they'll make themselves known eventually. Mostly its a mental game for me today - yesterday and today I have just felt... Just not right in my head. Kinda sad, kinda blah. I spent all day yesterday wishing it would be over so I could get to today, but what the hell for? Today is going to be a repeat of yesterday? Just not into life today. Or yesterday.

ETA - that makes me sound *extremely* depressed. I don't think it's THAT bad. But I'll own up to a case of the megrims. Drs appointment tomorrow. If still feeling megrims I'll mention it

Woke up in the middle of the night to DH squeezing my hand and stroking my face. I smiled and tried to go back to sleep, then realized there was a mild aggression to it.
Me: "What are you do-- oh. Am I snoring?"
DH: "Yeah, really bad. Right in my ear."

Sorry babe. We both woke up exhausted today, lol

Feeling super nauseated and tired this morning. The only thing that sounds good right now is a long nap and a big glass of ice cold apple juice, but neither of those things are gonna happen since I have an appointment in a couple of hours and I haven't had juice in the house for a while. Also having some of the worst stabbing pain in my hips...my body just feels overall run down. So ready for this baby to be born.

I was up 4 times to pee last night as well. I also realized today that not only have I not gained weight in 5 weeks, but have lost weight since last week. I'm currently sitting at my OBs office waiting for a "squeezed in" appointment so she can put my irrational paranoia at ease (hopefully).

I'm going insane. This hemroihd it sooooo bad. Like I can't walk or lay or anything. I tried to take a bath I couldn't sit omg I am crying. Nothing is helping tucks prep h warm water ice nothing . I don't know what to do. I have my weekly appointment for ultra sound and check today and I'm so embarrassed to have to discuss this with my doctor but like it's beyond my shyness. I just don't think he can do anything. My mom is a teacher and is leaving work early to drive me because I can't even imagine driving. Just thre walk to the car to go to the dr seems crazy. Ugh is sooo bad

I've lost weight, too. Dr Google tells me it's fairly normal at the end of pregnancy. Apparently you stop collecting so much water. I've definitely become more sweaty. (Everything pregnancy sounds so much worse when I "say" it out loud... I'm not as miserable as I sound when I list my symptoms!)

@mellymar I've been down in the dumps for the past day or so as well. Part of it for me is I've just been feeling overwhelmed with the impending changes about to happen to my life. I'm kind of feeling very alone in this whole thing and like I'm carrying the weight of my new world on my shoulders. I'm just scared0and worried about all the things, I guess. *hugs*

I've also lost weight over the past two weeks. I have been having a lot of Braxton Hicks contractions and doc thinks some of the weight loss is due to that constant "ab workout".

What is getting me right now is the swelling... oh the swelling. Hands, feet, lady bits... it's aggressive. Thankfully my BP remains low anad none of the swelling is sudden so it does not appear to be pre-e.

@finchfeeder80 yeah, alone and like the world rides on me. Really stressed about this whole thing, and DH is dealing with a lot of stress at his work so I don't want to talk to him about what I'm feeling cause it will make his whole situation much worse and I really need him to pull it together over there but then his work stress is adding to my stress and its this terrible feedback loop. I also feel alone cause I have no friends nearby, and DH has been wrapped up in this work thing and doesn't seem very interested or excited, tho he was the one who wanted kids more than I did... Damnit, I told myself I wouldn't cry.

( Thanks for the hugs, I needed it. Hugs right back at ya, and to any other moms with the megrims. Actually... Group hug! >:D<

@finchfeeder80 and @mellymar - my friend who had her baby at the end of February was feeling this way exactly. We were discussing this when her water broke (she was at home while DH was at the supermarket). The next day, she texted me that while she felt pregnancy was an "individual sport" and something she had to do alone, birth was "a total team sport" and she "could not have done it without" her DH.
I remember finding this really reassuring, so hopefully it brings some small comfort to know that a) feeling scared (me, me!) and/or alone is completely normal, and b) DH could still show up big, even if these last few weeks feel very isolating.
Big hugs, ladies. The anxiety about the unknown is getting stronger every day for me.

Also joining the sad club today...doesn't help that DH and I got into a stupid fight last night and my hormones took control and I was up until 5 this morning crying and pacing my house, laying on the floor in the nursery trying to comfort myself because I didn't wanna lay in bed with DH. Woke up this morning still sad and DH has been just giving me my space all day but I want to scream and tell him to just hug me and make it better. I just wanna curl up in my bed and cry myself to sleep. I hate this because I am not normally a crier but today I can't seem to stop. These puffy eyes are not a good look. I hate hormones.....

Today has been great. Had indigestion last night and woke up to pee at least 6 times, but nothing new.

Doc told me today baby's head is engaged, and that I'm 2cm dilated and 50% effaced.

Can't stop craving cereal this week!

Extreme fatigue and weakness similar to first trimester for two days now. Acid reflux daily, burps and food coming up. Taking more Zantac than usual to control it. Sleeplessness and waking up in the middle of the night. More pressure on everything down low and some pains. Think I have a little bacterial or yeast infection which has come and gone throughout pregnancy. Some pain during sex and I think I'm a little swollen maybe from baby pressure. I'll bring that up to doc tomorrow. Ready and excited for baby girl's arrival but having a little anxiety about her health and making it into the world safely.

I too woke up feeling weepy - like I could cry at the drop of a hat. Even my voice was shaky this morning. So weird. I had some light cramping, pelvic/back pain this morning but it subsided. Feet/ankles/calves are swollen again. But I'm 37 weeks today!! Trying to look on the bright side!

Nesting has begun! I'm in full cleaning mood and getting things put away. Diapers stocked and bassinet ready. We've been cleaning like nuts too trying to get everything stored away or situated since we live in a one bedroom duplex it's going to be cramped until we buy a house in the winter. So it's been a treat

Hi all, thanks for putting my mind at ease re: random pelvic pains!

I had to go to work today - which of course DH yelled at me about - but I left 20 min ago and I'm going home to hopefully take an epic nap with my kitty. I'm also working from home tomorrow so no walking or driving, yay!

@finchfeeder80 isn't this reflux vomiting GROSS? I'm already on 2 Zantac a day. It just started 2 days ago. What's with all these last minute new symptoms? /Seinfeld voice

Holy hell RLP!! What the heck !! Was fine all morning then I took a shower and when i got out pain came but thought it would subside so went to the grocery store ...BAD IDEA lol ppl def thought i was in labor the way i was hunched over the cart and holding my hip. Left with 2 zuchinnis and sorbet ...not productive at all! And to top it still have the pain hour later grrrr

I thought today I'd put work clothes on and go with DH to work on our new house. Well after a 45 min ride just to pick up wood I'm already exhausted. I'm riding and I am wore out. I'm also peeing bright red blood but the Dr says deal with it until baby is here. It's not normal to see mass amounts of blood when you're pregnant. Its scary!

@finchfeeder80 and any other heartburn sufferers ..... I can usually only eat popcorn for dinner to ward off nighttime reflux....... It sucks and I want the real food but yeah...

I'm feeling good today actually. My neighbor got me out of my house which was much needed.

The overwhelming feelings I think are normal at this point.

The sex business JUST got weird last night. Couldn't find a position that wasn't weird for me..... And so I think were done with that. Pretty early in the game too! I have 5 weeks left.
Anyone else feeling like it's crazy that @Emilywooddesign had her babies,!???? For some reason it's making this all seem so real..... Crazy !
@devyns2nd is this blood because of your bladder condition?! Id be freaking.

First day back to work. I can't go full throttle and have to if I want to get things done by my due date. Everyone tells me to slow down but then get upset if I can't do something so therefore I can't "slow down."

Exhausted tonight. I don't want to eat or cook. I just want to lay in bed. Ribs and back annoying me.

Not a ton of movement from LO today but he is for sure stretching so I think he is just as tired as I am... Lol!

Had an appointment today...asked about my lack of braxton hicks. My doctor gave me this big stupid look and said "Well by definition, braxton hicks contractions are contractions that mean nothing...so no don't worry about it" Then, after I picked her brain about drinking quarts of rasberry leaf tea, oils, supplements, and whether I should be kick counting, she finished the appointment with "just be normal...if it doesn't sound normal or feel normal don't do it, and call if something doesn't feel normal....you know what normal is!" Clearly this doctor has heard it all. HAHA!

So a new symptom...being irrationally in love with doctor...
