  I'm really excited to become a mother.  I feel like I've waited and did things I want to do in life so now I can really focus on my son.  Of course there is stuff I still want to do, but I'm really looking forward to meeting him the first time, holding him in my arms and seeing the look on my husband's face when he holds his first child for the first time.  Also excited about becoming a real family and doing all the wonderful family things together as he grows up! I hope that I can create a wonderful childhood and memories for him!!

  Like you OP I am looking forward to my boys meeting their little sister.  I have a pic from the hospital from the first time DS1 met DS2 and still looking at the pure excitement and love in his eyes makes me tear up.  I can't wait for that to be captured again.  I also look forward to having those couple of nights at the hospital with just me and the baby, which probably sounds weird but with two other kids and DH going back to work after a few days, those nights will be enjoyable with just me and her.  Then I am looking forward to not being pregnant.  I am not one of those people that loves being pregnant.

  @bbiutmcph  I'm with ya there! I'm not really enjoying being pregnant either.  I want my body back!! lol

  I'm most excited about watching my husband see our baby for the first time. Just thinking about it gets me a wee bit teary eyed! I can't wait to see the instant love and bond between father and son/daughter in that first moment he meets our little!

  As a FTM, I am just so excited to be a mother.  I'm so ready for it, my husband is ready for it, and I can't wait to hold this little nugget in my arms!!

  I, too, am looking froward to when my boys get to meet their sister! My 6 year old is already in love with her and talks to my belly and gives her kisses, it's so stinkin cute! Can't wait to see their interaction!
  
  I'm also looking forward to seeing my husband with his daughter. I can only imagine how tight he'll be wrapped around her finger!
  
  I'm not going to lie- I'm also *very* much looking forward to all the little girl clothes!!

  So many things! Being a ftm, I'm keeping a weekly journal and this is one of the questions. This week I said I can't wait to feel kicks more frequently. But long term, I can't wait to hold this little girl and watch her bond with her daddy! And so many other things!! Such an exciting time in our lives but I'm already ready to meet her!

  I really just love seeing my husband's reactions to everything more than my own!  When he saw our little guy for the first time on US or heard the heartbeat....it just makes my heart melt!  He was watching the show Newlyweds with me on Bravo last night and I can't remember the name of the woman who was having the baby....but when he saw the baby come out and saw the moment they shared he started to tear up.  I cannot wait to have that moment!

  I can't wait to meet the little guy, watch my husband as he sees his son for the first time, hear that little cry, feel his soft baby skin. Ahhh!! Everything about being a mother is so exciting. I already know I'll miss being pregnant, I love it.

  I'm mostly looking forward to seeing who our second child will look like. My son looks just like me and only has his dad's hair. I can't wait to hold this LO in my arms.

  It's been a long road with several miscarriages along the way to this point. I'm just excited to have made it this far. My husband and I love to snuggle on the couch and I'm excited to add little Jellybean to our snuggles. Baby snuggles are the one thing I miss about nannying.

  My twins were preemies so I'm really excited to have that immediate bonding. I had a c-section with my boys so I'm hoping to have a vbac this time around.

  to eat like a normal person! I miss food and not puking after. ( Also, my Victoria becoming a big sis.  She's going to be the best!  Newborn baby smell best smell ever.  Love it!

  These made me all teary!! All of the above but I am kinda a one day at a time kind of girl! I can't wait to feel the baby move and really know 100% it's the baby. And then for my husband to feel it too!! He says his favorite part of the day is when he rubs my lotion on my belly and talks and bond with the baby. He is going to make the best Dad!!

  Can't wait to see my husband, who for 98% of his life has not wanted kids, to meet his daughter. He's been so happy about this pregnancy. I know he will fall in love. I also can't wait to see what she'll look like and act like. We are both so different, I can't even imagine!

  As I go through this pregnancy, I keep looking at pics from the hospital with DD. I have one of the moment they laid her on my chest, skin to skin. DH took a close picture of my face and hers, and it makes me teary just thinking of having that feeling with another sweet little one. There is a rush of "Oh my God, she/he is here. We are all together. This is our life." It's so amazing!! (It makes 54 hours of labor disappear, no joke.)

  
  

  Like many of you ST+Ms, I am really looking forward to DD meeting our new LO and becoming a big sister. I have loved being a mom and DD is an incredible little person, so I can't imagine how it can get any better than this...but it will!

  @tate62610, the napping on the chest is the best! I remember holding her scrunched up little body and thinking, "Please don't grow up..." Obviously, she is growing up and it's still awesome to cuddle

  I didn't get to have my son put on my chest ! They instantly took him to the NICU ! I didn't get to hold or see him for 4 and a half hours afterwards ! I hope I get to snuggle with this baby right after birth !

  Oh man four and a half hours is so long! I only had to wait 45 minutes to see my twins but I was puking because of the epidural for most of the time, not exactly how you want the first time you see your baby to go hopefully we'll have a better experience next time!

  I love this post!  I'm excited to slow down and start really appreciating the important things in life.  I love my job but as I'm gradually moving toward part-time work, I'm realizing how nice it is to spend time with family and take time to relax.  Baby is already teaching me important lessons and I can't wait to learn more
