1) It's okay to be offended. Sometimes it's GOOD to be offended. Sometimes it means that you are wrong and need to be knocked down. Some people on here say "she offended me" like they were physically assaulted.
2) I know the conversation has shifted BUT DEAR GOD THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SEX AND GENDER. You CANNOT learn your baby's gender from an ultrasound.
I think this (and the girl that talked about posting on the knot) actually gets to the core of why I find these posters somewhere between annoying and offensive. Just because you disagree with me and I get offended doesn't mean you have the right opinion. Being mad at me for having a different thought doesn't necessarily make you right.
There just doesn't seem to be a space for saying you disagree and why and then letting other people contribute. And if you dare to question this type of poster they start crowing about how they can post whatever they want and hurling insults. It's just not a pleasant way to gave a conversation.

The feeling I got was that she does put in her two cents, and I doubt very much that she went on to argue with people who weren't trying to argue with her right back.
Sorry if that doesn't make sense. What I mean is that she wasn't the only one having the argument here. People were free to not respond if they didn't want to argue.
Sure but if your first comment is that antagonistic it's like you're asking for it. And doing that again and again while staying just within the rules is like...like a kid waving his hands next to your face going "not touching you can't tell on me!"
And to your last point absolutely but the reverse is true too. The people responding had just as much of a right to but then got called out for "harassing" her.
@csy2947 they assume they are right always LOL it's their way or no way. Apparently if it's not their way it's not right, all human beings have certain things they prefer, so I don't know exactly what they keep trying to prove, and I agree with your previous post, Soberrysweet comments or loves this that are negative, or likes to turn it around, like when OP said she would cry and get over it, she stated she would be acting like a 2 year old. People cry over things all the time, especially while pregnant !
^^This!
I honestly feel a little bad for the people in the lives of the negative and mean/rude people on here. Wonder if it's just the internet mask they wear.
If any of these people had actually read what I typed then they would have seen that my overall "goal" was to have a healthy baby. but they just saw "gender anxiety" and jumped the gun. Oh well, if they can't understand then I can easily ignore them (sure it really upset me reading them at first but I attribute that to the hormones).
Thank you all for who commented it means a lot to me (and I'm sure many others as well). I love hearing that I am not the only one and that it is okay to feel the way I feel

Why are you so obsessed with me?
Get a hobby. Seriously. It's weird.
I think we could ask why you are so obsessed with monitoring pregnant women's feelings that you hang out making snarky comments on a bunch of random birth month boards specifically made for ladies expecting that month. But to each their own!
