Just wondering if any of you live in the Chicago area? It'd be great to make some new friends who are expecting around the same time and live in the same area!
I'm in the city! I just moved here 2.5 years ago from California (I know, I'm crazy). Technically due 11/29, but can relate more to the december group.
Edited to add I live on the Northside, and this is baby #1.
@LandonModeno They told me I'd get used to the weather. They lied. I moved here from Cali years ago and I feel like I'm whining about cold 3/4 of the year!
Is heartily apologizing to her child in advance for genes that predispose them to shitty vision and being Too Damn Tall.
Anyone have little ones who are interested in getting together? Especially you Plainfield mamas? Plainfield library gives out free museum passes, really fun.
@hollyagriffin, I am in Wayne! Which is right next to St. Charles. I do everything in St. Charles because there aren't any stores in Wayne. Welcome to the area!
Any good resources for classes or places to have a baby shower in The city? I am looking for classes for couples or pregnant ladies to help with labor etc, also for a baby shower, like a restaurant because other places for évents chargé à lot for thé Space!
Any moms near Plainfield area, want to get together. My husband and I are still new to the area, and are looking to meet new people. Plus it's nice to know people going through the same thing.
Re: Any Chicago Mommas?

Chicagoland here! EDD 12/27 with #2.
So excited that there's a handful from Chicagoland this go round. There were only a few of us from my old BMB with DD.
