I was reading through the Where Are You From post and see that there are quite a few of us on 12/15... I thought it might be nice to do a check-in every so often to get to know each other and hopefully be able to share experiences/tips/recommendations and hopefully have some fun too.
I know there is a BostonBabies board but it is rarely posted on.
So... If anyone else is up for it, I'll start by introducing myself. Only put what you wish to share.
Location- Boston
Due Date - 12/18 so 8w4d
Age- 37 (DH is 40)
LOs at home or FTM - FTM
Blue, Pink or Green - Team Green
Plus I'll add a couple of interesting facts. I found out last week that we had a vanishing twin & this pregnancy came right after a loss on 3/2 after IVF. This was an all natural surprise!

We have been trying for 4 years
This LO was a surprise that happened naturally the month before we were scheduled to start IVF
We have another ultrasound this morning
I'm really nervous because I have been bleeding
Last week baby seemed fine hr was 160
Say a prayer for us!
Due Date - 12/5 so 10w3d

This will be our last LO. We struggled with considering whether we were one and done but it I'm so happy we are having this little bean.
Due date- november 26th (moved a couple times so I'm staying on December board)
Age- 30
DD is 4.5 yrs

This baby is my miracle baby. I was supposed to be doing IVF this summer (I'm a teacher). I have two diseased tubes and a very small chance of pregnancy, even smaller for IUP. But my little miracle baby is there and hearts a beatin!! Just trying to survive until the end of the school year

Age- 31 DH is 37
DD is 21 months
Blue, pink or green- I am thinking we are team blue but we won't be finding out for a few weeks.
I think this is going to be our last one. Which makes me a little sad. But I'm very excited because I just found out one of my good friends is pregnant due 12/29. I'm trying to convince her to join.

@Mags128 That's so cool that your friend and you are due so close together! It will be wonderful to have the playmates. Since you're in Boston, I was curious if you know anything about the Clarendon Street playlot?

Interesting fact: we just got married on 3/28, weren't trying just a birth control mix up and ended up with an amazing surprise!!

Not sure what team we are yet. We find out end of June if baby cooperates.
We are so excited. This baby was a surprise for us but couldn't have come at a better time. I lost my mom to cancer in October of last year and she always wanted us to have another. The baby is due the day before her birthday. I hope everyone has been feeling ok so far and congrats to you all.
Growing right on schedule with a heart rate of 161!!
The doc can't explain the bleeding but apparently it's not hurting the LO so that's good news.
I'm going to chalk it up to extremely sensitive cervix and pray that it lets up soon. That is supposed to be a bonus in pregnancy right?! No bleeding?!

Very excited. We have been very busy, married 9/20, closed on our first home 9/26, got a dog 2/14, and both of us just got new jobs! We feel very blessed!
Oh my goodness… I'm so glad that I decided to post this. I thought maybe nobody would respond, but I think we've got a great group of women here!
@wattsbaby2015 i'm very sorry for your previous losses… Fx for a H&H9. And happy birthday to your son! It's great that you have a few kids so hopefully will be able to give us some insight :-)
@mmorin80 i'm really sorry about your mom. I know how you feel because I lost my dad in December. I also have friends that are in Salem with a DD the same age as yours!
@foliver82 so glad the appointment went well! I hope that you don't have any more bleeding throughout the rest of your pregnancy!

@kkstark what an amazing story! It sounds like either way, boy or girl… You guys will win! How fantastic :-) what grade do you teach?
@christiel14 that's a lot of stuff in a small amount of time! DH and I thought that we had a busy year… Congratulations on your wonderful news and it's nice to have a Mainer on here!
@jenocal I have definitely seen you on the AMA post :-) I guess where the older ladies of the group… But that doesn't make us old!!!! DH and I are hoping to have more than one so chances are that is going to take us a while and we will be much older by the end. It's cool that you have a great stepdaughter so you have some idea of what you're getting into. I'm beyond elated (cautiously) but frankly petrified ;-)

My husband and I just bought a house in Beverly, MA. This is my first pregancy. We are both currently 29.
Where are you all delivering? We are going to MGH which is great if I can finally get my ultrasound/ prenatal apt! They won't see me until 10 weeks! I am 8 weeks today so I am very anxious to go in and see how everything looks!
Nice to see so many here! Even a few in Beverly which is awesome! I am due Xmas eve currently.
