Now that most of us are finding out the
Gender. Were the old wives tales true or false and which ones?? What about the Chinese gender predictors?? Just curious...

Chinese gender prediction told me il having a girl, but I'm having a boy. I did hear that you break out a lot with boys, so that's def holding true for me, my skin in a mess:(

Basically every old wives tale, predictor etc has been wrong in all 3 pregnancies except for the if you have heartburn your baby will have hair. My first two needed hair cuts at birth and if things stay this same so will this one.

I think they are all nonsense and correct 50% of the time.

First one were almost all wrong. Gender predictor, lack of glowing skin and many others all said girl. Only thing that said boy was no morning sickness. I had a boy.
This time I haven't thrown up but been extremely nauseous and icky feeling so we will see in 3 weeks!

One that has been accurate for me and two other people I know is the baking soda test. Could have just been three flukes though. Especially since I'm having twins.

My son had a high heartbeat my whole pregnancy, 167-176 bpm, I took an intelligender and it told me girl ! I carried high and big ! I tried to drano test it came out girl, with my son my hair on my head was so super soft and silky, and my skin was the best it's ever been, I have echezma and when I was pregnant with him it all cleared up !! With my son I craved white milk with ice, homemade pizza burgers !! Anything with cheese or meat, and also POUTINE (fries with mozzarella cheese shredded on top with gravy poured over) @nsaid4u that's definitely good math ;p ! Haha

The way I'm carrying is all girl, same as last time... Major butt growth and a low, wide belly. The HR's were/are high with both. Cravings have been different with both pregnancies. My skin is super dry this time, I don't remember last time.

With DD, here's what we found out:

Chinese gender chart: boy

Ring test: boy

Cravings: boy

Acne/moodiness: girl

Intuition: boy

Well, obviously my intuition was only one of the predictors that turned out to be wrong! This time around I'm not even guessing. I'm just loving the experience and hoping for a healthy baby. He/She will be so loved and we can't wait to meet him/her!!

The ring on the string has held truw for all my friends. You hold it over your hand if it makes a circle its a girl and if it goes back and forth its a boy. It predicts all of your children in order at once, so once it goes one direction you dip it and it then 'predicts' the next child's sex. It has me having a girl, then a boy, and then another girl.

The Chinese gender predictor and old wives tales so far have all been correct for us having a girl except for the one about heart rate.

The Chinese predictor and fast heart rate said girl, but we're having a boy! The only one I've heard people swear by that was true is the fact that I'm carrying very low instead of high. Also, my intuition said boy, and momma is usually right
