So my husband has been working super hard lately for a big thing for work. Like, 7 days a week, 9 am to 1 am or so. Last night he finally turned in at 3:30am. I know he's miserable, so I try not to complain to him, but this basically makes me the pregnant single mom to our 3 and 5 year olds. Today he'll have to work all day, too. I don't think he even has a clue that it's Mother's Day. I'm trying to have a good attitude about it - what better way to celebrate Mother's Day than to spend the day mothering? Also trying to focus on the fact that this won't last forever (although no end in sight) and I'm lucky to have a loving partner who has a great job and two silly, happy girls. Still, I might break down crying if I see one more breakfast in bed/brunch/spa day post in Facebook...
