Well my baby shower is next weekend, I still need to finish her room, which I'm in no rush because I know she will be in our room for a few months. Pack her hospital bag, mine is already packed, iron clothes for my daughter while we are in the hospital so my mother in law doesn't have to. I think that's about it.
Finish purchasing all our stuff - we truly are leaving it until pretty close, I'm still hopeful that friends from afar my purchase some items - like swaddle blankets, bottles, humidifier, etc. The only stuff we have is the major stuff - pack n play, crib, dresser, swing, carseat, stroller. And of all that stuff, only the crib is put together (but we're moving forward slowly, making progress). So, put together our stuff, install the car seat, wash the crib and pack n play sheets, wash the clothes, put away the stuff my sister sent me...we got a lot to do still. I'll probably work on some stuff this weekend

What the heck is your daughter wearing that you need to iron? Very curious. My goodness, that would be the first thing to go for me, I hate ironing! DH is in charge of ironing at our house.
I still have to start her nursery. She will be here in less than 5 weeks and we just got the nursery painted this week and her furniture won't be here for another 2-3 weeks. Everything we got from both baby showers are still in bags and so I will need to go through all that and get everything in her room. I think the only thing I have done is packed my hospital bag, well mine/hers and I haven't even really finished that lol. But it's all good I'm not too worried, well not today, last week I started crying about not having anything done so who knows how I will feel tomorrow hahahaha.
Pack hospital bag which i am doing this weekend, buy a pack and play, have one more shower and a diaper party, install car seat, make pre-made/frozen meals for the first few weeks with LO, sleep as much as i can!

She doesn't have special clothes, I just iron everything she wears. I don't enjoy ironing, but I'm not letting my child wear wrinkled clothes. Lol
-get assessments done at work - make a to do list for my August return - clean the house - freeze some meals - put stuff in the hospital bag rather than on the step stool in our bedroom
Put the finishing touches on the nursery (my parents are bringing the last of what we need next weekend, as it's all gifts from our shower in our hometown) and get some last minute things for my hospital bag. Also get DH to pack his. But actually, for me the most important thing is to get as far ahead as possible on my schoolwork so I don't have as much to do when LO arrives.

Convince my sister to wash baby clothes when she comes before were out of the hospital
Hospital bag for me and baby. Buy tin of formula just in case. Wash all baby clothes, sheets, towels and blankets. Hang up nursery pictures. Finish making frozen meals. Get capsule installed. Buy nursing bras. This thread is great actually, I have been needing to remind myself to do these things asap as I am due in three weeks, arrghh!! Best get started on Monday I think....
Thank you ladies... This list had also reminded me I need to wash baby clothes! And I like to have a case of formula has a just in case (so helpful last time in relieving nursing anxiety!)
Don't forget to order your breast pumps through insurance if you are able! It was a very simple process!
I really want to clean the whole apartment nicely...but I can't by myself so I need to organize some help. Finalize birthplan. Buy some more bedcover protection... Buy diapers, baby wipes, swing. Practice some breathing excercises Probably more stuff but im just so sleepy now so I can't think of anything else. .
Thanks everyone! I've been having brain farts when it comes to figuring out what's left to be done.
For me: -install car seat -buy toiletries for my hospital bag (travel sized stuff and mega sized pads and granny panties) -pack my hospital bag (and one for baby and one for DS, who will be going to the inlaws) -pray that baby has turned head down- hopefully my ultrasound on the 21st will confirm that). Otherwise mentally prepare for an external version, or a repeat c -breath breath breath because holy crap baby girl could be here (Uneventfully) in less than two weeks!
I need my dh to finish painting the trim in the nursery ( it wasn't done to my satisfaction). Then I can reorganize the baby room. I need to pack my bag. Have the carseat put into his vehicle. Buy last minute essentials for me. And I need to make spaghetti sauce to freeze.
Ahhh! This thread is making me want to vomit, or making me excited not sure . . . I like all your lists, helpful. I was 100% sure I was going overdue again had 5-6 weeks left but got the news yesterday that we'll likely be getting an early eviction notice due to a few complications. I had to go to L&D yesterday and tried to throw together a last minute bag. I need to go buy some comfy sweatpants or pj bottoms to labor in, mine are all tight leggings or covered in holes. I also need a 2nd set of toiletries so I can have them packed and ready to go. Hopefully I have a few weeks yet.
I feel lucky to live a few minutes from the hospital, and a few minutes from Target.
I need DH to turn down the temp on the water heater, install car seat bases, finish hanging stuff in the nursery, put together the Halo bassinet, finish packing bags for me, DH, baby, and our two girls! I haven't even thought about food. I did discover Amazon Prime Pantry so I've stocked up on toilet paper, paper plates, and other bulk stuff.
Pack my bag (baby's is done!) Install car seat Need diaper genie and swing (hopefully I'll be getting these from MIL at baby shower next week) Get DH to put together the crib Set up pack n play in our room Buy some formula Buy some toiletries for myself Finish a rag rug I started for nursery(longest project everrrrr FYI) Get some little baskets and picture frames to finish putting together nursery
Less than a month....
Is this really happening?! Stop, don't panic, and remember to breathe.....
Hospital bag and car seat are the biggies. Furniture came yesterday so I have to put the finishing touches on the nursery.
The only purchases I have left is the car seat adapter for the stroller and a carrier. I can get those quickly from amazon so not to worried.
I feel further along than I did with the first but I'm probably more relaxed. Everything is just a quick trip to the store or amazon order away.
FTM. Don't be so hard on yourselves. I was so freaked out with not being ready. You aren't leaving the country. The stores will be there after you deliver and everyone around you wants to help.

And most importantly, don't panic. Thank goodness my mama, sister, and MIL are coming on Memorial day weekend to help with things. I keep telling myself I'm going to do a little every day but by the time I get home from work I'm exhausted.
Everything....this is baby #3 and I have no motivation! My husband won't be back from Afghanistan until baby is about 7 months old so baby can shack up with me until then! I have a new travel system in the garage still in the box I'm just too tired to do anything
I neeeed to try and get breast pump from insurance. I called and they have me two different phone numbers I can call by do you need a prescription from the dr to get it? And I need to start/finish painting/decorating the wall letters spelling out baby name. I need to instal car seat and finish packing hospital bag. And so much other stuff I'm sure I'm forgetting. Oh dear this thread was helpful but also stressed me out!!!

They needed a prescription when I ordered mine. I ordered it through the McKesson group. They gave me a brochure at babies r us and I called the toll free number, gave them my insurance info, and within 24 hours I had an email of what pumps my insurance paid for and a few upgrade options. I responded with my order and took a picture of the prescription with my phone to attach to the email. In less than a week my pump was delivered to my door!

Re: What is left to do?
I need diapers! Haha probably most important thing but I do have a closet full of adorable clothes!
I need to pre-register at hospital (will do tomorrow when I go on tour)..
I need to get my bottles in order and take inventory of nursing supplies...
Oh and I need to pack for the hospital!
Then, set up the nursery. I've done all the organizing and preparing but you can only do so much.
Also pack for the hospital but I'm not too worried about that. If I forget something we live only a couple minutes away.
raising my white flag as we speak 8-}
I'd also like to do some bulk grocery shopping, like snack foods, any non perishable foods, toilet paper, dish soap, etc.
