Oh and at my last doc visit which was this Monday I was 1cm dilated.
  • I would say my symptoms haven't changed very much. I still have insomnia and the urge to pee every half hour. I have had a very sore throat since Monday and it seems as if it has gotten worse. Luckily I got someone to work my shift today and I am currently laying in bed trying to go back to sleep, but who am I kidding, I'm not going back to sleep anytime soon :((

I've got a mild rash on my tummy. It flares up now and then but isn't causing me any discomfort. It's not itchy either but my doc wants me to go in for a blood test tomorrow. I wasnt worried until I showed my friend and she said she couldn't believe how calmly I'd been walking around with it... :S

I had to start taking iron last week for anemia and man I just kills my stomache! I've tried taking it at different times, with or without food and it doesn't seem to matter! Lo moves so much too which I love but now I can't even eat dinner comfortably in a chair! Ate it on the couch leaning back last night!
How many weeks around was everyone when the baby dropped? Just curious! My induction date is 4 weeks away and I want his head nice and low!!!
  • Woke up again at midnight and stopped myself from opening the daily symptoms thread again ;)

But yeah, woke up 4 times overnight. At some point this all has to accumulate and I will have one night of good sleep, right?

My new symptom is just a ton of muscle aches or round ligament pain when I try to reposition myself when laying down. Not enough to call a doc (who I literally just saw anyway) but good god it's annoying.

My overnight stomach pain has stopped - I didn't take my prenatal yesterday and I wonder of there's a correlation there. That, or the fact that now when I wake up overnight I eat a snack and drink some water.

RLP last night, sore hips when I sleep, and frequent BH when I stand or move too much. I also think that had to do with me not getting enough water yesterday. I also attempted to run after DS last night. It was not pretty and it hurt. A timeout shortly followed. That'll teach him not to run from pregnant women!!!! Ok so there was more to it than that, but still.

    Edited because of freaking autocorrect.
  • Lots of BH and real contractions. Not a real pattern, so not worthy of calling the doctor or going to L&D. This heat and humidity is real killer and is making me cranky. We are pushing the 90s in the Buckeye State. I have zero motivation, and I couldn't care less if I do anything but lay in the a/c. My back is in all sorts of pain, and my hips are achy and it makes it painful to walk. 3 more weeks, just 3 more weeks!
  • @SweetnessG I live in central Ohio and I just told DH that he has to put the A/C in tonight. I can't take it anymore and we don't have central air because our house is 150 years old. The plaster keeps it nice and cool during the day but at night it is unbearable. I haven't slept through the night because of the heat/humidity for over a month now.

  • @obryana6219 I had to turn our a/c earlier this week. I couldn't take it anymore. Sleeping at night is still horrible because I'm so hot, but I can't imagine no a/c. Everyone would hate me!

Slept all night minus waking up to pee a few times..happy girl.

Rings are officially off :( less BH which makes me sad because for so many weeks they were constant. They are stronger when they happen so maybe the tea is just consolidating them (wishful thinking!)

  • So. I'm going to go out on the special snowflake limb for a minute:

I don't know if anyone here is really truly plus size, like, not just a little chubby, but as in, pre-pregnancy I was about a size 24. So undressed my bump is not really one pretty bump like most of y'all's is. This week I've been noticing a lot more pressure in my lower abdomen, especially by the end of the day. I'm not really surprised by this, as baby is getting bigger, etc, but it is uncomfortable. I've been thinking about getting one of those support belts. Not the ones to keep wearing your jeans longer, but you know, like a jock strap for your bump. I know they come in plus size, I've seem them in the store. I guess my concern is knowing where to position it, since I don't have a nice, tidy baby bump. I suppose it's trial and error for everyone, but I hate the thought of dropping money on it and then it not really working with all of my fat. :\">

I know they're supposed to help a lot with lower back aches, which I really don't have much of except at the end of the work day after being trapped in my crappy desk chair all day. Has anyone used one, overweight or not, and found it helped with the abdomen pressure? It doesn't really hurt or anything, it's just uncomfortable, you know.

  • My feet have gotten so swollen I can't get them into sneakers anymore. They came down a little since work yesterday but I will be back on my feet all day so I know they will be huge by the time my shift is over and they hurt! My bp was ok, I checked it at work. I'm so ready to have this baby already! 5 more weeks!
  • I went for my U/S and Elle was sticking out her tongue / making faces. Then I was told ( on another board) that babies with DS sick their tongue out a bunch. I was never tested for anything so. Ehhh I guess anything is possible. But now I'm in panic for no reason... Fact is everything else looks good with her. No issues so if she did have DS she would still be born healthy. I feel like an idiot even worrying about it.

Oh.. At 32 weeks ( measuring 31) she weighs 3lbs 15 Ozs. So she is healthy and average size. My other daughter was 7lb10oz at birth.. Looks like she will be about the same as her sister :)
  • As of right now, I am primarily dealing with general tiredness, lower leg soreness and cramping, and abdominal tightness in the evening.  The number of pillows on my side of the bed has grown exponentially and I fear my DH will at some point get lost in them, lol!  I don't remember being this uncomfortable with our first LO, but then everything is already stretched out and number two is sitting low.

I'm taking slow release iron at night after dinner and it's not upsetting my stomach....making me a little constipated, but tolerable.
  • @finchfeeder80 I wear about a size 24 pre-pregnancy. My OB had me go get fitted for a maternity belt at 28 weeks because of my back pain. I got to an office that's part of a clinic so they sent me straight over to ortho. They measured me and fitted it to me. I believe the brand was called "mommy to be" and I wore an XL. I don't know if you can find them online or if your doctor can do the same so your insurance will pay for it. I wear mine right under wear I feel my uterus emerge from my pubic bone. I have some extra cushion down there
so it was weird at first but it really helped ease my back pain and support my bump. Good luck!

  • Tomorrow I will be 35 weeks with my second.  I am a stay at home Mom but worked during my last pregnancy so this one is much different with a 3 year old at home.

Tired, nauseous, sore breasts (I have been using my husbands chillo on them and it works great), hard to breath when I lay down, more sleepy after eating, lower back hurts (heating pad), upper back hurts, going the bathroom all day, thirsty all day, belly moving into my ribs.  I am also starting to have braxton hicks contractions. But only about 3 an hours and they are irregular.  They are difficult to have when trying to make dinner, or give my daughter a bath or put her to bed.  My husband has been helping often but I still feel bad.

Also, I am just hormonal.  I am blaming everyone else for the little things that are bothering me and not myself.  But I realize I am doing this and I am trying to stop.

I am 4 pounds away from when I gave birth to my other daughter. I wish it was less but I am glad I am close in weight.  I am 5 foot 1 and about 159 pounds now.

@taboullio84 In pretty much every 3D scan I've seen from my friends the baby is sticking its tongue out. That fluid is tasty stuff! One of my friends was super excited to get the cute tongue photo just cos so many of my friends have gotten that picture. I really wouldn't worry one iota :)
  • I think it is.  I will think something one day and then the next day think I was crazy for thinking or feeling that way.
  • I. Have. No. Motivation. Seriously lacking. I can create ideas of things to do all day in my head, but in actuality, nada. Being around students all day, having to perform, is getting the better of me-- and yet I love my job. Just hard to go home to four 'little' people (3 of which are in 6th grade) on top of all the middle schoolers I see all day. Needless to say, I'm becoming a lazy teacher. I hate that about myself these days!!!

  • Sooooo tired and just dont feel like myself. Baby girl is just fine and moving as usual. BH have been highly noticeable and I'm having some killer back pain today. My doctor didn't seem worried about anything at my appointment this week but I may still call her if my back doesn't let up. I need sleep and nothing helps.
  • Hi everyone today is my first post I have been reading what you ladies have been posting n I can say that it helps to know that I am not alone. You ladies have helped me more than my md. Please help

Symptoms come and go, is there some reason besides a lessening of symptoms that you think will lead to a c-section?
