BIG Sister couldn't be more excited and mom and dad are over the moon as well. Congrats to all the March 2015 moms! Enjoy your bundles*
Baby Logan born 25th of March at 3.15am weighing 8lb 120z at 39+4 after 30hrs of contractions and last minute rush when heart rate plummeted. We Love him so much. I can't put him down even tho his my fourth xxx
Levi Thomas was born March 21 at 2:16am, weighing 6lbs15oz and 21 inches long. He was born 11 days overdue and after postponing an induction to allow him to come on his own. About 30 hrs of labor (I had contractions before that but I'm counting just from when I realized they were really contractions, not just random/sporadic pains). I labored for about 12 hrs at home and was 7cm when we arrived at the hospital, but labor stalled for another 12 hrs of painful back labor. My doula was AMAZING and we tried all sorts of things to get baby to engage, but it turns out my tail bone was out of place and holding his head back. Around 9pm I agreed to an epidural so my body could relax and allow him to descend. I started pushing around 1am and he was born at 2:16! We had planned on delayed cord clamping and an hour of skin to skin immediately after birth, but he came out covered in meconium and had to be all checked out. I had extensive repairs; the midwife had to call in an OB to do the repairs and give me another dose of epidural, and said if I hadn't had the epidural port they would have had to take me to surgery and sedate me for the repairs. I can't imagine how bad that would have hurt when he came out if I hadn't had the epidural! Positioning is so important and I will absolutely be more active and do my spinning babies exercises diligently if we ever have another baby! But he is here safe and healthy and I am recovering great. I lost a lot of blood but haven't bled much afterward which I am grateful for! I felt disappointed that most of my plans did not happen, but my midwife and doula were both very supportive and helped me to take everything one step and decision at a time and try to do it how I wanted (intervention free) and stay flexible and do what was needed if the original plan didn't work. I know I did my best and felt in control and respected. It wasn't how I planned it, but it was still my birth and I don't have regrets (other than wishing I had called the chiropractor in the morning and been able to have him 12+ hrs sooner!).
Congrats to all the M15 mamas, babies, and families!
Amelia was born 8 lbs 8 oz, 19.5" long on her due date of March 25th at 2:08pm after 11 hours of drug-free labor and two pushes! (Short for a FTM!) I didn't get an episiotomy, but did get six stitches. Ouch!
Congrats to all the fellow M15 mommies! Our LOs are perfect in every way!
Edited to include how many pushes.

Announcing the arrival of my sweet baby boy Dawson Jan Leslie born via emergency C-Section on April 8. 7 lbs 12.5 oz and 20 inches long. I was due March 29th and went in for induction on the Monday April 6th, was induced that morning and my water broke that evening at 6:45, and therefore had to stay in hospital, contractions finally started Tuesday with almost no progress, they started me on Oxytocin on Wednesday at shout 6 am to help stimulate progression, extreme contractions for 6 hours and still no progression (4 cm only) and finally got an epidural to help relax my body. 5 more hours of contractions and still no progression from 4 cm and contractions were too close together and too strong it put the baby in distress so we went in for emerg csection. What an emotional wild ride.. Turns out my hips were to small and my baby would not have been able to be delivered vaginally. Finally arrived home on Saturday April 11th. Baby is doing well and I'm so in love
My little miracle came on march 27 she was 6lb 11 oz. I was 37 weeks along and surprised when my water broke. She was born csection after just 2 hours in the hospital. Unfortunately she had some complications that kept is in the nicu for 2 weeks. She is doing great now and we have been home for a few days. So happy to be out of the hospital finally!!
Joseph Hendricks Arthur March 21st 9:50 pm 7.13lbs 21inches My little man took 24 hours to meet the big world but not without a false alarm 1st! While it was a long process with the help of epidural and some other help to continue to move the labor along, I thought he was going to hold out on me. Finally though with 50mins pushing I got to meet my amazing baby and wouldn't trade it for the world!!!!
Ava Zarli Hodges. Born on 21st March at 4:44pm. 9 days overdue and was due to be induced that day. Went to the hospital that morning and was 3cm about 8am. Cramps started about 12 and by 2pm I was calling the hospital and on my way. When they checked I was 6cm and was allowed to stay! Yay! They ran me a bath and after about half an hour I felt like I needed to push. They said whatever you do don't push! You're not ready yet! I held in the need to push for about 45 minutes when they finally checked me again and I was good to go. 10 minutes and 5 contractions of pushing later and she was here in a beautiful natural water birth!! Total labour time was about 6 hours! She was 4060g (8.9lbs) and 51cm long! Totally in love and smitten with her ❤️
hunter Avery was born March 9th went in for an inductions around 8:00 and found out I was already in labor stayed the night and woke up they broke my water and I gave birth to him at 3:06 pm 6lbs 4oz 19.5" long had him at 40 weeks pushed for 45 minutes that's good for a first time mom
This is Charlee Grace! She was born March 4 at 1:10am. 7lbs 3oz and 20.5in long! She was born at 39 weeks with a very smooth natural birth she's perfect and growing like a weed already!
Naomi, born 3/28 at 2:42p.m. 7.9oz, 20in. 1 wk early. She's my third, but all 3 have been totally diff birthing experiences! This time my water broke hrs after having membranes stripped. Ended up going all natural bc I progressed from 6cm to 10 so quickly! (Otherwise I would have gotten the epidural)! Glad it worked out how it did it was an answered prayer actually, bc my original birth plan was to go naturally anyway excited to be part of the community!
Lily Rose Page was born a week early to the day on March 22nd at 2:20pm. She weighed in at 7lbs 2ozs and was 20ins long. ^_^ I'm super far behind on delivering this good news. I woke up that morning around 6:30 with what I described to my DH as severe menstrual cramps. So we decided to go in and get checked. My DH packed our bags(we were way behind on that) and we got to the hospital about 9:30am. Turns out they were labor pains. Lol We were told to go wander the hospital for awhile, but I was only able to do that for about 45 minutes. I opted for an epidural as the pain was too much for my redheaded self to handle. I reached the full 10cm and was told to try pushing; but she was having trouble with her heart rate dropping every time I had a contraction, so they opted for an emergency C-section. I was very much not prepared for that, but it turns out that she had her cord wrapped around her neck, torso, and foot. But she came out perfect. ^_^ Here she at the hospital and her chunky monkey self now. ^_^
Eleanor Audrey Newton 9 lbs 13oz 22in Born at 11:09 pm on March 27. Was 40 weeks and 5 days. We were induced and labor was a total of 19 hours but I only pushed for 40 minutes. No c-section
Dorothy "Dottie" Marie was born 3/6/2015 via c-section after my blood pressure wouldn't go down. I had fallen the day before, hit my head on the ground & needed 8 stitches. 2 non-stress tests later, baby girl arrived at 38 weeks. We had a scheduled c-section for the 12th of March, but clumsy mommy made it so her arrival was a week earlier than planned. She came was born at 6:40 pm, weighing in at 6 lbs 12.5 oz and was 19.5 inches (so much smaller than big brother who was 8lbs 9.5oz). Now, 3 months later, she is 23 inches and probably 12 pounds (she was 11lbs 11oz at her 2 month appointment). Happy, healthy & perfect.
