Is this normal???

My baby has been very fussy, excessively drooling, won't take a nap and chewing on my shoulder. Can she be teething at only 7 weeks?

    She's hungry.

If she's going through a growth spurt, which does happen around 7 weeks, she could be constantly hungry. When my LO went through her growth spurt, I had her on my breast constantly, seemed like all day to me. But if you do suspect teething, try running your clean fingers along her bottom gum line, you should be able to feel tiny lumps "tooth buds".
  • Probably growth spurt.
  • Offer her food. If she takes it, she's hungry and just mega-eating for a growth spurt. If she doesn't, take her to the doctor.

  • Can be a growth spurt also how many ounces is she drinking? Are you giving her cereal in her bottle? My girl is 7weeks drinks 4oz about every four hours with a scoop of cereal and was very satisfied. Somedays depends on how long she sleeps will drink 6oz I count every hour she slept is an oz of milk not exceeding 6oz. Hope it helps.
