Miss Ryleigh Ann came into our world on May 4th at 3:04pm after 9 hours of labor. She is 8lbs 14oz and 20" tall. She is so perfect and healthy and I just can't see how I could love her or her father more.
I was due to be induced today at 39 weeks when they called me to say they were behind and they would call me when they could see me. Well three hours later my contractions hit hard and fast about 3-5 minutes apart. I went in and got checked and I was at 4 cm already!! They admitted me and with in two hours I was at 6 cm all on my own. I got an epidural at 9:30 and things slowed down, but never needed the pitocin. At 2 pm I was 10 and ready to push. One hour later, a class four rip down stairs, and a little help with the vacuum she was born!!! Clearly she did a number on me and I am recovering as well as I can ask for. She latched on right away and has breast fed twice now with no problems. She is just so perfect I could go on and on.
