Week 34: Return of Nausea

ugh* once you think you are nearing the end of this marvelous journey, you think the most you have to deal with is being 'round', sleepy, and waddle, BUT NO that lovely sickness from the start of your pregnancy returns with its best friend in tow, Heart Burn. Tums do nothing. What else can I do at this point?! I know I'm not the only one. But baby is health and in position so that's good news

Re: Week 34: Return of Nausea

  • It's never stopped for me since week 4 :-&

  • Mine came back too :( so you are not alone. I drink tons of water and I notice a huge difference if I dont. I crave pop and then drink just a little and ugh it makes the nausea even worse. I haven't found anything yet..so I'm sorry!
  • I was so sick for the first 3 months of pregnancy so I thought I had put my time in *ugh* yeah water has helped a lot but then I'm peeing 24/7 more and it almost give me a stomach ache when I drink to much?! Sounds weird but idk
  • I take gaviscon at night before I go to sleep , helps with my heart burn or else I was waking up nauseous and feeling like puking .
  • If it's just the heart burn that's bothering you, I take Pepcid and Zantac off and on for that. Try not taking your vitamins late at night and prop yourself up with pillows. I've been on zofran almost this entire pregnancy for the nausea part of it :(
  • Even though this is all belongs in the symptoms thread, I did want to share because its 4 am and I'm miserable. I'm so nauseated I can't keep food down. It's the culprit of terrible heartburn. And the new fun part is laying on my right side triggers heartburn so now I can only sleep on my left which means my arm falls asleep and I can't change positions. No helpful advice just wanted to commiserate. :-??
