Where are you feeling baby kicks??

My boy is hanging out pretty low-- below my bump! I feel his little kicks only about 3 inches above my public bone, just above where my hairline would be-- anyone with similar feelings??

Re: Where are you feeling baby kicks??

  • That's where I feel them too! I keep expecting them to get higher but baby likes to sit down low I suppose. I got my very first bladder punch today. Im now sure that when baby gets bigger it's definitely gonna make me leak when it hits there

  • I'm almost 21 weeks and feel them there too when baby is hanging out low. The past few days baby has moved up closer to my belly button which is much more comfortable and easier on my bladder! When I had my 20-week ultrasound baby was head down and basically using my bladder as a cushion, lol.
  • mine are usually low too
  • Mine are below my belly button too. I feel the in the middle of my belly and on my left side.
  • When I feel the baby, it's about midway between my belly button and my pelvis bone.

Yes, down low like you describe. I actually feel her most when I'm sitting, not standing or lying down.

  • Oh thanks! I just thought it was weird that I have this protruding belly yet babe is still so low.
  • Baby girl is standing straight up, feet at the bottom and head at the top facing outward. She is taking up as much room as possible. Every kick I feel is very low and until she turns only my DF will be able to feel her because I am not allowing people to touch me that low. LOL
  • Im having a boy as well and that's where I feel everything too :)
  • My baby is currently kicking me in the ribs. It's not a pleasant feeling
  • Mine moves almost every where around my belly, the moves are distracting to me.
  • I feel them everywhere. He sure does love my ribs
  • I feel him mostly right below my belly button.
  • I feel the kicks harder down below. The upper kicks aren't as strong but I do feel kicks everywhere.

    There's:
    The Bladder Springboard move
    The One-Two to the colon
    The Roller Coaster Roll

I'm just naming name as time goes on. :P

Haha!  Love the names!  The other day DD did a Barrel Roll in my belly :)
  • I've felt him where you're describing since about 17 weeks on and off, now that I'm 21 weeks I've been feeling him down low still, but also right under my belly button. He seems to move around a lot more in a lot more places the further I get along. :)
  • 22 weeks & my girl kicks me in the same place as everyone else. Maybe it's just because our bumps haven't moved up higher yet but they will!
  • My little girl has her toes in my belly button. But that doesn't stop her from punching me in the bladder. She's upside down and backwards

I feel a lot of movement from my little guy lower, like he's punching me in the bladder. These are usually lighter, but can be really uncomfortable sometimes! However, when I'm laying down I feel him move a lot more near my belly button. The higher up movements are definitely more forceful kicks/ rolls/ karate practice than the lower, lighter, kicks.

2 weeks ago, during my U/S, his head was facing down, face inward (didn't get to see his face) feet toward my belly button. Not sure how he is positioned now. Feels like he's constantly changing positions. I'm hoping by my next ultrasound, he will have flipped so we can see his face :)

@barrelocarol I love your individual names for every movement ! Lmao :))
  • I'm so glad I found your post, I'm 18 weeks and am finally confident that what I felt today was the baby. I felt her low, too, though so I was worried! I thought that may be she should be higher by now. Thank you for the reassuring post!
  • All movement has been below the belly button for me. Solely on the left side for weeks 17-20 but now I feel them on both sides
  • Ha. Peed myself today after a bladder kick.
    lol thanks baby
  • Feeling it about where my bladder is!
  • mybabynumber2  oh man I've been getting plenty of the one-two to the colon! It's so jarring! Every time I make a face and my SO looks at me and I'm all oh nothing.... Nothing at all.

But mostly I've been feeling the on the left side and lower down. Occasional punches in the front center, but I think baby's working on their fancy footwork more than anything else.
  • Today, It feels like she's punching right in the whoo-ha! Seriously! It's soo weird and jarring. I
