3. Just doing OPKs, that has worked for us in the past seeing as how Ive actually gotten pregnant a few times. The trick is staying pregnant ha ha

4. CD 3 woo hoo! Happy AF showed up so we can get back to trying.

5. Hopeful :-)

QOTW: We will be going to Hawaii this month for a family foundation meeting, just 4 days, but still excited.. except for the fact that I am pasty white ha ha ha

Hi! I'm Kathleen, from Georgia.

TTC #1

This was my first IUI, with femara, trigger shot, and now progesterone while I wait.

I'm in my 2WW, 6 days after ovulation/IUI. I already peed on a few sticks to make sure that the trigger shot is out of my system. I'm probably going to start testing stupid early, just because the wait is driving me crazy! I should wait until day 14 to test, though-- that's my official date. But I'm going to a hippie/raver/burn event this weekend, and have this idea that's a magical sort of space, and so I'll probably test on day 10 while I'm there to see if I harness some of that magic...

I alternate between feeling hopeful and feeling like it didn't work-- I think I ovulated a little early, based mostly on a hunch. I was a little crampy the day before (trigger shot cramps, or actual ovulation?), and my temperature spiked the day of the IUI (because I'd ovulated the day before, or because my darn dog was barking her head off an hour before I got up, causing my blood pressure and temp to rise?). Too many variables. I also know it's unlikely that it will work the first time. But I did once roll a full yahtzee on my very first roll of the game, so who knows?

No summer plans yet! We're holding off on any big vacations because we don't know how expensive the fertility treatments are going to run, so we're pinching our pennies.

2. Since miscarriage and D&C surgery May 2012, IVF/ICSI is our only option because of DH's dx.

3. IVF/ICSI #4 with a fresh MESA for DH and then CCS testing and later FET at the "big clinic".

4. 2 Blasts biopsied for CCS testing IVF/ICSI #4 BOTH CCS NORMAL!!! Results call on 4/24. CD 1 4/22, started bcp for FET 4/24, HSG for FET 4/30, Regroup call with RE 5/07.

5. Feeling hopeful for the first time in years.!! Praying for our two Blasts

4. I'm in my TWW, DPO 6 and CD 32. I'm going to try to wait until DPO 12 to test.

5. I feel good about this cycle, not too much pressure since it's only the first cycle.

QOTW: in June, We are planning on going to New York for a couple of days then spending the rest of the week in the Poconos. I'm pretty excited, I've never been to New York and looking forward to some relaxation time!

No vacation plans this year. I've had too many car issues.

I would love to go back to the beach for a couple weeks.

On a break. Charting and temping. After all my angst and getting an appointment for a progesterone test to confirm I HAVEN'T ovulated, I got cross-hairs this morning that put me at 3 DPO. Not entirely sure I trust it, but I may have ovulated on CD28.

4. Where are you in your cycle? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test?
Possibly in the TWW.

5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)
I really didn't want to take a break but it's honestly been the best thing I could have done for my mental health. I was living my life in 28 day cycles, which isn't any way to live. This month has been awesome!! But, I'm ready to get back to it. I'm relatively sure we aren't going to luck out and get pregnant this month on our own, but we DID have decent timing. We'll see.

QOTW: Do you have any vacation plans in the works for summer? If not, where do you wish you could go?
Going to the cabin a few times, which is about 3 hours away but otherwise no big travel plans. I'd like to go to Chicago one weekend to visit my niece who's going to school there.

Going for my mock transfer on 5/4, start stims on 5/7, hoping for retrieval on 17th or 18th..

5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)

every emotion in the book! Excited, anxious, nervous hopeful.. all of the above

No vacation plans, we are waiting until after this cycle to see what happens.. I would love to go away on a cruise but we are playing the waiting game right now..

We started TTC our 3rd 8 months ago. Had a miscarriage in March, this is our first cycle trying again.

3. What are you doing this cycle? Are you seeking help with a fertility specialist (RE)? If so, what stage are you in? Charting/temping? Testing? Medicated cycles? IUI? IVF? DE?

Charting, temping, OPKs, baby aspirin, CoQ10.

4. Where are you in your cycle? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test?

2WW, 9 DPO. I may have POAS (or 2 or 3) already.

5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)

This cycle has been weird. Lots of spotting after my period, then another random day of spotting on CD10, positive OPKs on CD10, 11,12.....then EWCM and another positive OPK on CD 19. I'm assuming I Oed on CD13, but frankly, I'm stumped. I also shouldn't have been POAS this early, it's not good for my mental health. Unfortunately, I can't seem to stop myself. A colleague who has also had a miscarriage this year told me today that she dreamt that I was pregnant, and was so joyful. I know it doesn't mean anything, but it made me feel happy and hopeful. Not that my eggs care if I'm hopeful!

QOTW: Do you have any vacation plans in the works for summer? If not, where do you wish you could go?

We leave for a trip to Disney World in 3w5d. My only consolation from a BFN this cycle would be enjoying all the rides and drinks at Disney! Can. Not. Wait.

5. meh. and next cycle I won't be here during my fertile week for a stupid school weeklong field trip to LA. grrrr. Maybe we'll conceive in Europe. That'd be fun.

Going to Istanbul and Barcelona for two weeks. Its our, "we are hoping this our last summer without kids trip" Can't wait!!!

4. CD14, no sign of ovulation in the near future

5. Learning the fine art of patience...I'd give anything to have a shorter cycle - it'd just mean I could move through cycles so much quicker. All this waiting and then finding out I didn't O - ugh. Fingers crossed this month is the one but I just don't know if my ovaries will actually cooperate - THEY ARE STUBBORN!!! Oh, and I've been having pretty regular cramps (mild to moderate) since I stopped the progesterone (crinone) suppositories at the end of last cycle (yes, that's like 2 weeks of cramps). I told my OB about it but she said she never heard of anyone having withdrawal symptoms from crinone. So um, does that mean I should be worried? Or is this a good sign? Who knows.

I'm about a week and a half away from graduation. My cousin is graduating the same weekend and the extended family is renting a cabin in the mountains of Tennessee for 4 days! I can't wait! Also planning a trip to NYC sometime at the end of summer to see a close friend who recently moved there. Fun times!!

3. charting and temping; although i already eat a fairly high protein diet i am increasing protein and decreasing sugars even more; we have our appt today with our RE to discuss how our ivf cycle went and transferring our remaining blastocycst.

4. waiting to O, should be in the next few days.

5. neutral - would be super nice if it happened naturally this month, but just seems unlikely

Right now some long weekends planned to visit family. Hopefully a backpacking trip in (thats not all work). Would like to plan a longer vacation in the near future, but the ttc plans have been priority.

@efhoping2010 - just saw your CCS results -- that is so so awesome! Good-luck with the FET prep and planning.

@suziq1978 - have fun with your new car!

2. TTC #1 has been put on a brief hold until the summer. We had tried for the first time in March but nothing happened.

3. The usual. Charting, temping, CM and evening primrose oil. Only difference is practicing safe BD, LOL.

QOTW - We have a beach vacation coming up and then a trip to Europe scheduled for Aug/Sept. Can't wait for the beach!

I just did my first ICI then iUI this weekend so you are a few days ahead of me. Hopefully we will get to share bfps soon!

H has suddenly decided he is not ready for FET of our CCS blasts.

So transfer has been put off.

He says possibly in a year or two, I will be 40 then and will have to repeat tests all test at my clinic so likely double

So I will sadly be signing off, this is too sad for me, I hope to be back at some point.

If anyone has questions about azoospermia, CCRM, DOR, multiple failed IVF's, miscarriage after IVF etc. feel free to PM me, I will check from time to time.
