Twatwaffle Tuesday !!!

I don't think anyone has started one this week & since I want to complain to someone but can't because only my best friend knows here it goes!

I called yesterday to schedule my first appointment I'm a FTM at 4 weeks 5days. I know it's early but I just really want to get one schedule. I've never been here before so obviously I'm on the back burner list ugh! So I leave a message at 8:45 on Monday morning. They didn't return my call until 2:35 that afternoon. The phone literally rang twice then went to my voicemail before I could grab it so annoying. I immediately tried to call back & had to leave yet again another message for them to call me. This was yesterday at 2:38. I have called again today & still have heard nothing. I get my emotions are going crazy but I'm already frustrated & impatient & want to cry!

Also I have Obama care so my offices in my area are VERY limited ugh so switching to a different isn't possible. Humph.

    The people who do all the ingredient ordering and menu planning in our cafeteria - they always underplan.  So I get my hopes on a stinking Turkey Bacon Jalapeno Melt and then they tell me they've run out of turkey.  Bastards.

    Nausea is being a twatwaffle - it's at this point every pregnancy that I'm like "WHY IS IT SO BAD THIS EARLY?!? IT MUST BE TWINS!!!"

    @MrsJP20082015 - That must be so frustrating! The good news is you have plenty of time to get a hold of them and make an appointment. Most places won't see you until around 8 weeks which seems like forever!

    @MrsJP20082015 honestly if you can I would find a different office. If they are so busy to call you back you may not get the care you deserve. I understand limited insurance, but I have had success in the past cold calling from a phone book (internet) and asking if they take your insurance. In my experience the insurance websites are not always updated and so they do not list all of your options.

    Sorry, I disagree. I would meet with them in person before you decide. To be blunt, scheduling an appt for a 4 week pregnant lady is probably not on their priority list. It doesn't make it right, and it is annoying and frustrating... but there's also people there with high risk pregnancies, or who are further along who need more monitoring and care. When you're 39 weeks pregnant I bet you'll get a lot more attention. If you find as you get further along that they still aren't great at returning calls, then I would look elsewhere. But right now, it's still early.

    I know it's past frustrating to not get an answer but I work at a Drs office and you have to take priority first. I know it sucks. Priority: patients in office, emergency calls then routine just the way it is.... But you are not behind schedule I promise!! They will get you in there just be patient ;) congrats!!

    Thank you ladies!!! I know I'm not that far along but just getting that little bit of conformation even though my test have all said positive would just make me feel a little better. Plus I'm so impatient something I will for sure have to work on ugh!

    Update! They called me first thing this morning ! The lady was super sweet & apologetic explaining that it was a busy month for them. I my appointment scheduled with the midwife on July 28th. Wishing it could be before my birthday on the 24th but the 28th will be just as good! Hoping to hear a heart beat
