Yup, irritable uterus here too. I posted about it last week (I think) sucks because I can't do anything and in bed rest but I have an 11 month old son. So I'm staying with my parents because I need the help and my hubby is only seeing us a couple nights a week since our home is so much closer to work. I miss my independence and my husband. Like others I was in L&D and ended up with the terbuline? (sp) shot. My c-section is in 38 days I can't wait to meet my princess.

Ugh, they haven't put me on bed rest, just told me to take it easy and watch for any changes. I have an appointment already scheduled for next Friday so unless anything changes I guess I'll find out more then. So sorry you're having to be away from DH, but I'm glad you have your parents for support! Hang in there!
@bowloforanges1327 you've been in my thoughts and prayers. I'm glad you have a good support system around you. Continued wishes for healing and peace.
To all my other mamas who are struggling with work stressors, trips to l&d, bed rest and stressful pregnancy scares, my thoughts are with you. Wishing you all healing and sustained pregnancies. ❤️
Starting to get nervous about baby boy showing up early. Had contractions (definitely real ones) all weekend that calmed down with rest, but I won't have another opportunity to rest for a few weeks as student teaching ends and graduation follows. I'm a FTM and the thought of him being eight weeks early is really stressing me out, and I know that's the opposite of what I should be doing. It's killing my type A need for structure.
No still no phone call. Getting discouraged because I wonder if it does get approved which date do they start the payments from? Maybe someone has knowledge on this.
I am bad at tagging but all of you have been in my thoughts and prayers. I know a special little angel is watching out for all of us June Mamas. It has been crazy here for us the past couple of weeks since Miles passed away. My husband and 2 older kids have been so strong. We have had a few complications with this pregnancy, low fluid, slow growth etc and it looks like we will be having an early induction. With everything that has happened I am looking forward to a more planned delivery. Not sure I can handle much in the way of suprises and we are just so excited to meet her!
You've been through so much! I am in awe of how grounded you are. It really puts things in perspective. Thanks for being so inspiring. Sending much love your way.
Morning, ladies! I'm hanging out in l&d this morning. Woke up this morning to get ready for work and had a decent amount of blood in the toilet and on the toilet paper. Called the on call number and got a nurse who told me to come get checked out. I'm having some slight contractions. They just did an abdominal and vaginal ultrasound. Also had the pleasure of being cathed. Now we wait
Thinking of you! I hope you find answers quickly and all is well with both you and Baby.

Thanks! I'm at work today. Trying to take it easy and praying for a good appointment this Friday. 2 months till EDD....just praying he keeps on cooking and that the time passes quickly
I know it's not the worst thing ever but I was diagnosed with gestational hypertension at 26 weeks. Since then I've been on meds to manage it and twice daily BP checks at home. I've noticed that in the past few days, my BPs have been creeping up despite the meds and I'm worried that they're going to find protein in my urine at my next doc appt (which would warrant a pre-eclampsia diagnosis). All the moms I've seen with pre-E end up being induced early or just get C-sections. I REALLY don't want either of these things to happen.
@MrsCaliRN to make you feel better. If your pressures stay reasonable if/when your induced/labor and they Do not make you be on magnesium sulfate ..... pre eclampsia actually speeds up the labor process.... I've seen it a lot. Hope that gives you a little relief. What have your pressures been? Our docs will not start magnesium during labor process until pressures are consistently 160/110 or pushing that.
So I went to the Dr early and I am having contractions. They gave me a quick shot and sent me home? I didn't really even see my Dr just the nurse and I'll see the Dr tomorrow to talk about everything. Another big thing to add and maybe the cause of my troubles is another kidney infection. Its causing lots of bleeding and my urologist told me Thursday that my kidneys aren't holding up like he would like them to. I'm afraid I'm going to have a very early baby and I wanted so bad to carry 37 weeks. I just need to make it six more weeks.
Oh and my blood pressure was 143/90 I'm not sure that that's super high but the nurse said "oh" then I showed her my feet and she ahh'd. I'm super bummed.
... And for some background info I wasn't even supposed to be able to get pregnant due to lupus treatments and after three tries or little guy hung around!! They had decided too that the lupus was just going to fight any pregnancy as illness and I've stayed in remission this enitire time. So for that I am so thankful!!!
@klkonwi So good to know the thresholds! I've never worked high risk L&D.
My BPs have been as follows:
Pre-Week 26: 110s/60s
Week 26 when diagnosed with gestational hypertension: 150s/high 90s, maxed out at 163/113
Week 26-Week 30 on ProCardia XR QD: high 120s-low 130s/high 80s-low 90s
Week 31: high 130s-low 140s/mid-high 90s
I'm supposed to call L&D if I get to 160 or above systolic and/or 110 or above diastolic, which is what it looks like you were saying would warrant intervention. I actually did not know pre-E is associated with a speedier labor. I would definitely count that as a silver lining to this whole charade!
Well I am praying you stay in your current range and do not need intervention until that babe is cooked!!!!! I will really be thinking of you. Yeah there is that silver lining...... It's not much but it's something if you do get stuck in an induction situation. It's just nice to be induced when your pressures are still under control and not have interventions with magnesium. So if your dr encourages it I would consider!

I hope everything works out fine for you. Let us know how it goes at your dr tomorrow. I have a friend with lupus that was able to get pregnant too. She's had her ups and downs but she's got 4 kids now. Hang in there! I hope you find relief soon.
Sure wishing I wasn't seeing so many high risk June ladies! But I'm one also! I was diagnosed with intrahepatic cholestasis about 3 weeks ago and I'm starting to feel a bit overwhelmed with all the dr appts I have weekly while still working full time, and not sleeping well at night d/t the itching I'm experiencing! Every week I have a dr appt w labs and an nst, an ultrasound and another nst. So I am usually at the dr 3x a week. I'm really happy they are taking such great care of me but just wish they weren't so busy and could at least get me down to going 2 days a week and consolidating appts! Oh and my dr thinks I have a pre existing liver condition and now need to see a gi specialist! Greeeeaat! The next 5 weeks til I'm induced can't go quick enough!!!
Well ladies, here we go again. Woke up bleeding again. Called the after hours number and since they don't open till 8:30 they sent me back to l&d. DH was already at work so I had to drive myself. In triage now and waiting to see what they say. DH is on his way
Thinking of all of our other June moms in hospitals, on bed rest, financial stuff, anxiety or depression. All of you, facing stresses I can imagine but probably would handle with less grace and dignity of spirit than the example I'm seeing from you fine ladies. Stay strong, you inspire the rest of us
I am still in the hospital with a ruptured water on bedrest. I have been here two weeks now and have 12 more days until I make it to 34 weeks when they will do my c-section. Laying in a hospital bed is boring and the food is terrible and frankly I am getting a little stir crazy! My husband and daughter come and spend the weekend, but our home is 2 hours away from the hospital. I was ambulanced to a hospital with high risk docs and a NICU. So no visits from family this week during the week
Thinking of you girls. I wasn't really on over the weekend, and it looks like a lot has happened since Saturday! I hope y'all are keeping your chins up and taking care of yourselves. Some of y'all are serious worker bees who don't stop!
Take care, and love from sunny/rainy Florida. Mickey Mouse and Harry Potter say "feel better soon!"
@bosleyb I'm sorry your family is so far away and can't visit more often! At least you are in a great place where you and LO can be at the same hospital after birth. And I can completely relate on the hospital food and going stir crazy!! You should ask if your hospital does pet therapy or something similar - I have cute older ladies come visit 2x a week with their dogs. It's great to play with the dogs, and the ladies always end up staying 20-30 min to just chat. Keep that baby cooking!!
I wanted to check in with @bowloforanges1327 . I have seen a post here and there from you, but wanted to let you know you are still in my thoughts. ❤❤❤
Yes! Thinking of all of you ladies as well! Sending my love, T&P your way for you and your LO's.
Seems like we have our fair share of June moms going through difficult times. I must say though, we've got a great support system and I'm grateful for that. So even though I'm technically an April Mom, I kinda like it here.

Sending you calm, relaxing thoughts with undertones of money.
@devyns2nd thinking of you! Thank goodness we get to have these babies soon !
3.5 weeks until induction for me. Prayers for improved BP (so we don't have to induce) and anxiety (yoga just ain't cutting it anymore!)
