Praise for your DH/SO

This may come off a little gloaty, but I just have to share the wonderful things my DH has done for me. I understand a lot of us are feeling down, and especially frustrated with the people around us (I totally get it!) but I'd also like an outlet to post our praise for those who are helping us.

Yesterday, DH weeded the front and back yards, bought me Mother's Day and birthday gifts (a panini press so I can have sandwiches and a bar cart!), trimmed my junk (with his electric razor!), and massaged my lower back. He's constantly offering to bring me a fan or help with any aches and pains. He's been a real trooper and we're not even halfway through yet!

So share your positive DH/SO (or other family/friends) stories!

  • @barrelocarol haha yeah, him trimming my junk was totally awkward and it was the first time I had asked him to do it (I "lost the battle" too! haha) and he was totally a champ, especially when it tickled so bad I couldn't control my laughter.

I totally get it's hard to believe sometimes that they still love us, but they do! :)
  • What lovely SO's we have!! Lucky ladies us Yano :-)
  • He's so caring and sweet during my pregnancy I'm a little sad that this will probably be our only child :( He's always so manly I love seeing such a sensitive and sweet side of him.
  • So DH is kind of a hobbyist, and sometimes he likes to pick up hobbies and then drop them quickly, and I usually give him a hard time about it. Right now, he's hobby-of-the-month is wood carving. Last night he was messing with some scrap wood and a carving tool and I asked what he was making... he said "A back scratcher, for when you're home by yourself with baby, and I'm not around to scratch it for you." D'aawwwww
  • Loving all the praise for our significant others!

My SO surprised me with a cut and color hair appointment this last weekend! Super long back story, but it was so sweet I started crying the second he sat me down in the stylist's chair and I realized what was happening.

He also got me an early Mother's Day present which was really sweet and thoughtful. I am a FTM so it was my very first one! He has been amazing through this process so far! I haven't been sick or unlike myself at all really so he hasn't had to do a lot for me, but he comes up with ways of helping and showing how much he cares about me and baby. I love him so much it's crazy

  • My hubby is simply amazing. I'm a SAHM and he works 4 -12 hour days. On his days off he takes over completely. From breakfast to dinner and even bedtime. This is not just while I'm pregnant, he is always like this. He is a 100% hands on dad to our boys and I couldn't ask for more. I've been blessed with such an amazing man :)
