Happy Friday everyone!! Hope all you mommas are hanging in there! Let's here what you've got for today...

I'll start us off with a little insomnia, heartburn with a sprinkle of indigestion, and a dash of mild lightening crotch. Ahhhh...it's good to be pregnant. ❤️

    Tried Zantec last night - no heartburn! It was beautiful! Thank you for all of your suggestions, I really appreciate them!

    I have a doctor's appointment today and I'm going to ask about this ear thing that's been going on... I don't like the underwater feeling and I'm hoping that they'll be able to suggest some way to at least reduce it. But I'm thankful that that's the only thing I have going on - nothing too serious!

    Awake. Wide awake all night.

    Otherwise, feeling pretty good. Looking forward to a nap at some point today. A really long one.

    I'm currently taking my three hour glucose test since I failed the first one! Really hoping I don't have GD. Other than that, feeling great, and looking foward to my baby shower tomorrow :)

    I feel for you all guys. I don't have lightning croch so much as constant numbing pelvic pain fright where my legs meet my boy especially when I stand. Baby is like a dead weight right on top of my baby cave. You'd think since he was low the heart but wouldn't be pushing up so bad....nope got lots of that still too!

    My kinda annoying feeling of yuck caught in my throat that was making me feel like I had to cough up some phlegm or something yesterday and the day before has progressed into a full on sore throat, complete with painful swallowing and hurting like hell when my allergies are making me sneeze, and the cough is still light and totally unproductive. Waiting for my drs office to open so I can see if I can go in today - since last time I was sick over the weekend I ended up in the ER wheezing and trying to breathe. Would rather not repeat that event.
    Otherwise, my back hurts. I'm tired from my throat hurting all night

    Update on my ears: OB thinks I'm fine, she actually told me to check with PCP to see if it's an ear infection but I'm going to wait it out since I'm not in any kind of pain... I really don't think it's an ear infection. My mom said she experienced this too and for her it was related to having a lot of amniotic fluid. She apparently had some sort of condition that I forget the name of because it's a super long word - she actually ended up getting a c section for my youngest siblings because of it - but OB doesn't think I have it since I'm not measuring big. Guess I'll just suck it up for now and see what happens!

    Just back from the drs - viral yuckness is the diagnosis. No strep (yay). Also, she found a bunch of wax in my left ear, and tried to flush it out, but we couldn't get it out, and now I have water stuck in there. I almost always get water stuck in there while swimming, so I should be able to solve this problem, but I feel much sympathy for poor @Emilywooddesign (and @karaelaine1991) with her clogged ears right now

    Me too!!! I got 2 hrs last night. I feel like a big baby who needs a nap and I'm very blubbery!

    Me too!! I played hookie today because I can't take the throwing up. Damn stomach bug! Now I'm resting while indulging in some daytime TV. Hopefully I'll be able to keep something down soon. I hope u feel better girlie!!

    @klkonwi I feel bad for you. Have you tried any of the baby spinning techniques yet? I hope you feel better soon. Maybe some ice cream would help brighten your mood?

    My symptom is that LO is crazy active today. Like she can't get comfy or something and keeps moving around. Well, that makes two of us!

    @frankengibbs that's awesome news!!!

    No new symptoms for me today. Just same old heartburn, peeing all the time, and tired. I treated myself to a Starbucks today after work so hopefully I can stay awake tonight.

    oh man the acne is so real. its getting annoying. luckily i dont work with people in the front of house, so i dont have to look good for work. but its getting annoying. also the breathing struggles when im sitting forwards and the exhaustion are getting on my nerves. only 18 days left of work though 8->

    Allergies are brutal right now! Mine aren't nearly as bad as yours, just so annoying! Hope you feel better soon!

    I am also having some ankle and feet swelling today but haven't kept up as well with water so hope I catch up soon and that helps.

    Help me out ladies - the struggle to bring up this crap that's infesting my throat and making it hurt a lot is real. Totally non productive coughing that doesn't do anything except hurt.
    My safe meds list has mucinex on it, and also "any cough medicine that does not contain dextromethorphan". I have mucinex d at home, its active ingredients are guaifenesin & pseudoephedrine, which appear to be safe in the 3rd tri according to Dr Google. It does NOT have the dex-whatever. Of course I can't call the nurses, they are closed...

    Go? No go?

    I emailed my midwife last week. I was to Mucinex would be fine to take (Guaifenesin (Mucinex), cough suppressant AKA Dextromethorphan Polistirex (Mucinex) ). The pharmacist said I could do Sudafed but that made my heart race and blood pressure rise. I was also to antihistamines are fine but they knock me out.

    Guaifenesin is an expectorant and should help you cough and get that gunk out. Feel better, honey! I gave in after a while and took Robitussin DM to stifle the cough, but I was dyiiing and have shit lungs.

    If you need to sleep, antihistamines will knock you out and are okay, but don't do anything for the cough other than let you sleep through it.

    Do you have a Neti pot? That may help with some of the post nasal drip.

    Buckleys mucus was approved by my OB. If that helps...

    My symptoms are odd today not the usual for me. Very sensitive feeling tummy to the touch and dry throat.
