My LO is 13 months and ever since she has been sleeping through the night, she has always slept 8 or 9 hours and no more.
For example, her bedtime is 8:30p. Without fail, she will be up 5:30a or if we are really lucky, at 6a.
I feel like she should be sleeping longer at night, but it feels silly to let her cry it out at 5:30a when she has slept through most of the night.
Any thoughts?
Re: Sleeping at Night
It sounds silly, but as soon as we put her bed back to 6:30/7 pm, she started sleeping 13-14 hours a night.
Thank you for response!
She still takes 2 naps, but my thought process is that if she were to sleep longer at night and wake up a little later in the morning then she would be okay with waiting until 1p to take a nap instead of needing a nap mid-morning.
I need to remind myself to take it just one day at a time.
She sleeps at 1030-1130 and wakes up 800-1000
And takes at least one nap in the afternoon and another in the evening if she's really tired
I appreciate everyone's help!
