  • @CatsAreShady you grow up.
For the 100th time! I never said you were old!! Got that?
One more time for the "thirty freaking two year old" who can't read.
I never said you were old. I was just looking for especially young mothers. That's all.

Reading comprehension is obviously not your friend, @jacquelineemma.

If you had bothered to read my response, you'd see that I said we were all playing with the old jokes and that you were getting defensive for no reason. You just proved my point.......yet again.

It's obvious that you are very young minded. There are many women here who are young but they are light years ahead of you in maturity.

  • To the original poster I completely understand what you were trying to do. My husband and I are both 21 and although we have been married for almost three years and are extremely financially stable most I do not have many people to connect with at this stage of my life. Most of my friends just want to get through this semester of college or are so much older than me that although they offer amazing advice it is always great to talk to someone going through it right now. I'm established. I'm married. I took the time to financially prepare but yet I still get stares when I Am in the baby section of a store. Feel free to privately message me
  • People joking and giving me so much heat please stop. I'm trying to deal with terrible post natal depression and a really bad birthing injury. Please stop commenting now. I'm done. I just wanted to find some people to connect with. I'm so sorry I offended you all so much, but please, can we stop now.

OMG, what "heat" are you referring to??
Any heat you got was only in response to your overreactions. And you're not going to get people to stop joking around, that's ridiculous. Especially since we were joking at our own expense, not yours. You could've joined in with the jokes and instead you took yourself too seriously and chose to get defensive. I'm sorry you're feeling off but you seriously need to chill out.

I'm sorry you are dealing with PPD (did you have your baby already? Legit question. Not snark) or depression at all. Trust, no one here means any harm. I think perhaps you are taking this all too personally. Please, if you need to, take a step back, talk to a professional & try to realize this is all just meant to be light hearted laughing at how we feel old.

You didn't do anything wrong & we really are just laughing at our own feelings of feeling ancient.
