Anxiety about how fast the due date is coming!! And I have to sleep in a recliner due to my horrible hip pain I can't lay on my sides I miss sleeping flat in a bed
I had horrible back and hip pain as well a few weeks ago. I'm sorry you're now unable to sleep in your bed Did you try a heating pad? I found that after 10 minutes or so, this did wonders for my back. Also, a warm bath always helped.
Super-non-stop-uber-active baby with pointy limbs. He rolls around throwing his elbows and knees around. Doesn't matter what side I lay on - he will go for hours. Usually have to try to rest on the recliner to give my sides a break. Ready for June to be here and have him in my arms and not attacking my insides like a ninja. Ha.
I have a new one....my poor old dog Toby had a nervous tummy last night and crapped all over the bedroom. We have friends visiting for a couple of weeks with a dog who makes Toby nervous. In his old age his stomach cannot handle stress, nor his sphincter. Poor fella. So I woke DH up to do the deep cleaning while I was his assistant and quarantined Toby in the tile bathroom for the rest of the night. He had one more emergency, but at least he made it outside that time. Not a very restful night to say the least.
My husband waking up at 3am and using his bright phone right next to my face to look at FB...finally an hour later I gave up trying to go back to sleep and talked to him til 5am when he finally decided he was ready to go back to bed! Too bad I was WIDE awake by then...
@lovethatcolosun awww, poor Toby-bear! (Yes, I'm sorry, I have a nickname for your dog that I have never met. I'm not creepy, I promise, I just *really* like old dogs, and your guy is so handsome, and I feel bad for him losing his friend not too long ago...) I hope he feels better soon!
my own snoring wakes me up. I can't friggin breath at night. Even when I'm just laying there I sound like I just ran a marathon.
@lovethatcolosun bless his heart. my granny recently passed and her dog has had seperation anxiety. She poos all over the place. She does ok until a lot of people come over. Stress is defiantly a trigger for her. The vet gave her meds and they seem to help a little.
Right there with the hip pain! I am fine during the day mostly but after about 2 hours in bed they hurt so much I spend the rest of the night tossing and turning or getting up to pee... I don't remember being like this for DD1, a lot of time I wake up laying on my back because that is the only way they don't hurt.
A new diagnosis of GD at 32 weeks and having to wait until Tuesday for my first appointment with the dietician to find out if it's out of control! (I had zero risk factors, and my diet is already one they would recommend for GD).
This was me! My sugar levels are really great. I think the glucola was just way too much for my body to handle. I actually had to add in more healthy carbs and spread out my meals to keep my blood sugar level. So far, no need for medicine!
@mellymar he's doing a little better today. He's on a diet of rice, pumpkin purée, and chicken for a few days until his tummy calms down. I also have him on meds from the vet to see if that helps. I may resort to the Valium they prescribed him after Loki died if he isn't better in a couple days.
@devyns2nd Toby had terrible anxiety after Loki passed. It broke my heart. This is the first time he's been an only dog in his while life. He just hasn't been the same this last year.
Thank you both for thinking of my old man. Here are a few pick of them when they would snuggle.
