Are you experiencing some extra challenges today from a hospital, bed rest, or other situations that have needed some medical guidance? Do you have some circumstances that could use some Good Vibes from fellow June mamas?
Post your situation here, if you'd like. We would love to listen and provide support. Feel free to start your own thread, take over another, or whatever is comfortable for you, too/instead.
Here is hoping some extra Good Vibes bring you a small amount of comfort along your journey.
Re: Good Vibes Check-In, 4/21
Most people probably know my situation - but quick summary: Admitted at 29w5d for low amniotic fluid (<5) and IUGR. At our 31w5d and 33w5d growth scans, baby grew enough - she grew right out of IUGR. She is now 30th %ile overall - which my doctors are thrilled with (I am a small person and they didn't expect her to be a big baby). I have been in the hospital for 4 weeks and 1 day and if we make our goal delivery, I will be here until 36-37 weeks. I am so thankful that LO has a good chance of making it to term - and I will gladly sit here for her. It does get really hard sitting here and staring down another 2-3 weeks in this hospital room, but here's to ice cream, netflix, and visitors. Good vibes to keep my spirits up would be the best
I just want to say thank you so much to all of you wonderful ladies for the outpouring of support I have received here. It always comes at exactly the time I am really needing it!
I hope your disability gets approved so you can focus on baby and not money. We need happy healthy moms. They should pay us to grow babies
P.s. If you were a full house fan *cough-unclejessefan* I saw that Netflix is doing a full house "grown up" kind of show.
@klkonwi I also am hoping for your disability to come thru. Stressing about money is no good for anyone, least of all woman growing a baby, who also suffers from headaches. Here's to speedy paperwork processing and an 'APPROVED' stamp in big, green letters.
Also, the movie night at your place sounds like fun. Or, make it poker night, Uno night, play a round of Cards Against Humanity if anyone has a deck.
knwilliams01 since you have Netflix, my hubs has been watching their series Daredevil, and I'm usually multi-tasking (I can't just sit and watch tv. I will also read, or bump, or play games on my phone, etc) but I have been paying attention, and it is pretty good. I think even if you weren't quite into superheroes like we are, you could get behind watching it. The guy is handsome, I think it's freaky how well he plays a blind guy, and he is taking on a most excellent crime lord in Vincent Di'ofrio (spelling?).
In other hospital stuff - I hope that bed is comfortable, you been there so dang long.
Hugs and best wishes to you both!
>:D<I second the Daredevil comment! Loving it so far!
Also, my thoughts, prayers, warm fuzzies and all that stuff are being sent out for all of you who are struggling too. We have lots of strong women on here who are gonna make some bad ass moms.
@knwilliams01 you have done a great job being on bed rest and promoting such amazing growth of your LO. I know you've been frustrated at times, but your overall attitude has been amazing. Sending good vibes for continued positivity and growth!
@CillyMama I hope all is well. Been thinking about you and baby every day. Sending positive vibes your way too. Update us when u can.
