Due April 17th, still no baby. Wake up this morning SICK.

I was due on the 17th. I've lost the plug, and had very irregular contractions. I woke up this morning with one of the worst headaches I've ever had. Also been throwing up any water I've tried to drink. Did a little bit of research and some say they felt sick impending delivery. I have not gotten out of the bed today and SO, bless his heart, is freaking out. Just wanted to check here and see if anyone else had experienced this?

I was due the 17 as well! She isn't here yet, but this morning I finally started having contractions, and I threw up once. But that's it. I still have my plug. But it's not uncommon at all for women to get sick before giving birth. Good luck!

I saw a good amount of stuff online with women saying they felt kinda crappy a day or two before delivery. Hope this is a good sign for us. I just didn't want to freak out and call the dr. FTM and she probably thinks I'm a nut with the questions I ask already. I'm trying to just see this as a good thing and rest up. Good luck to you too! Have they mentioned inducing you?

Lol I've been super hormonal the past three days and everyone keeps saying that means I'll have her soon. And not really, I have an ultrasound Monday to check that everything is okay, and she said after that we will look at options. I want to avoid induction if possible so I'm hoping I'll go on my own. Hopefully I'll be dilated Monday and she can strip my membranes in an attempt to get things going! Have y'all talked about induction at all?

At my last apt she asked if I wanted her to sweep my membranes and then was like nevermind we will wait. This was Monday..I was 2 cm then and 50%. She said she doesn't want me to go past 41 weeks and gave me an induction date. She wants to do it the 22nd. But, I feel the same way you do and don't want to be induced I want her to come when she's ready. I am supposed to go again monday and am thinking about talking to her about possibly waiting. I just feel uneasy about it for some reason.

Sounds like a change in hormones is making your body feel ill. I'd guess labor is near!

I was due the 17th as well and still waiting. Went to the doc on the 17th and he scheduled an induction for Friday the 24th but I'm going to call the doc Monday and come in sometime this week and make sure all is good with baby if so I want to hold off on the induction. Trying to have a natural labor if possible and don't see a need to induce if baby and I are both healthy. Have not felt sick or lost plug and contractions are very inconsistent. 50% not dilated. Good luck hope it's soon for all of us!!

If you are having headaches or vision changes you should go to L&D to be checked out - it can be an indication of something more serious.

Wasn't having any vision issues thankfully. Feeling much better today. Just an achey pelvis and lots of cramping. Hope it won't be too much longer. I knew I was impatient, but man these 2 days have been the longest lol.

was due on the 17th as well...was really sick for 3 nights straight but that was 2 weeks ago and doctor said that maybe it was just a bug or something...will go in on Friday for a check up and a NST to monitor the baby since I do not want to be induced...we'll see where it goes from there
