hello all,

just wanted to say hi as I join this board. the hubby and i have been married for two and a half years and together for seven. we're both 25 now and will be 26 by the time baby arrives. everyone is very excited to welcome this little one into our lives.

we took our first positive pregnancy test on jan 16, and after a few more positive at-home tests we took our first blood test on feb 1. the OB said it put us at 5-6 weeks along. we'll have our first look at the little guy or gal this wed. (feb 15) and i really can't wait. so far i think i've tried to stay a little guarded toward it all, but i know as soon as i hear that heartbeat i'll be in full-time mommy mode.

anyhow, congratulations to all of the other october moms. look forward to getting to know and growing with you!
