Any Boy-specific purchases/registry items?

It occurred to me that I might want to get some of those funny peepee teepees now that I know I'm having a boy, so I started wondering if there is anything else out there that baby boys might need specifically? I think that's probably the only difference but just want to double check. Obv a clueless FTM here.

    Someone gave me those and they are still in the package. I can't think of any different things I bought for my son.

    I was going to suggest the pee pee tepee covers lol... So cleaver whoever thought of those. If we have a boy I'll be getting them. I can't think of anything else.

    Yeah they are hilarious but also could be replaced by a regular washcloth instead of buying something just for that, so I'm still debating on them. Super cute though!

    We were given those teepee things and didn't use them either. A tissue worked well if you had a major clean up to do and the baby was exposed for a bit. Otherwise I got peed on plenty. I can't think of anything specific for a boy.

    I used a washcloth instead of those. You definitely need something though, little boys pee everywhere from the time they are born! The only other boy specific thing - but too early to register for probably - is a potty seat with a high front (Baby Bjorn worked well for us) or there will be pee all over the bathroom too!

    Never used those teepees. Just used a washcloth. In fact I just buy regular towels and washcloths for baby. It's ridiculous how much just one baby towel costs because it has a whale or cartoon on it. Lots of fun colors to choose from in regular towels and I love how fluffy and big they are for a baby.

    I don't recall needing anything boy specific other than clothes. I love the bibs that say "I'm not a girl!" because people would always confuse my newborns with the opposite sex even if they were decked out in very sex specific clothing.

    One of my girlfriends gave us a package of pee pee teepees. They're cute, but it seemed like every time I remembered to use them, baby boy didn't pee and whenever I forgot them, he peed all over everything. I ended up using baby wipes and learned not to mind being peed on, lol! Boys pee on literally everything, just to warn you. :)

    Get a bath cozy. My little girl didn't need one but Jamie did. He loved it so much. Kept his pee pee warm during bath time. ;)

    Yeah I never used those things with my son. If you are having him circumcised tubed vasiline and the small gauze pads. For those 10 days after you'll go through a ton of them! You want it as easy as possible when your changing him in the middle of the night haha
