My husband and I are having our second girl and the name game seems impossible. Our daughter's name is Kira Ly (pronounced Lee). We had no trouble choosing it. We wanted something a little different that could incorporate his mother's Vietnamese name, Ly.
Now, I love short and sweet names (Veda, Meika, Ely) that are a little different. Suddenly, my husband wants old fashioned names (Vivian, Elenore), and I just cringe. He thinks we could go with his names and I could just call her Viv or Ely, but I feel like I need to at least like (tho I may not love the name).
Does anyone have any ideas for older names that might work? (Also, he's wants to avoid names that end in "A"... Crazy, right? He doesn't want them to be confused at school like him and his brother were.)
I'm open to new ideas.
Re: Can't agree on a name
I really love the name Veda!
Also
Like to add that I tried to convince my husband one the name Vivian after my grandma and he vetoed it right away. I was very sad about it but it's his child too I guess lol
I know how frustrating it is, especially since due date is coming pretty quickly.
I love Naomi,Simone, Summer, Imogen, Serena.
