My center of gravity is really starting to change!

I didn't full on slip and fall getting out of the bathtub today, but I definitely slipped and landed on my bum. That was terrifying! I called my doc even though I didn't even hurt myself just to check. All's good, though. I just need to start being more careful. #:-S

The center of gravity thing is really messing with my bowling game. I haven't improved the whole season, and every single time when I go to bowl it feels like I am learning how to do it all over again. Since its every two weeks enough has changed with my weight and weight distribution each time what worked 2 weeks prior won't work at the current session.

I'm the worst bowler ever! I'll play a round with you sometime and make you feel really awesome about yourself. \m/

I'm having a LOT of pressure and achiness in my low pelvic region. Seems to get worse everyday. Doc says its normal but it concerns me. I'm a hairstylist and on my feet a lot but today I was off and laid in bed all day and still have the pressure. Anyone else have this? This is my third btw.
  • @Westypet I'm pretty terrible. Howbout we'll both try our best and see which of us earns the title of best worst bowler? I truly don't know anybody that is worse than I am. Winner of best worst bowler buys the ice cream ;)

In other news, I finished dinner a bit ago, and for real, the ewok is somehow jabbing up into my ribs/lungs on my right side, and at the same time jabbing down into whatever is on my left side near my hip. It is not the most comfortable of things. I am having to almost lay down to expand my chest and torso enough. Kid must be diagonal in there :-/

  • @mellymar - I get the occasional hip check, too! It's such a strange, uncomfortable feeling.
I'm not getting the ribs, yet, but it's just a matter of time... I have a really short torso. Derp.

  • My body is achy. My hips hurt, my back hurts something awful. My skin is dry, sometimes I feel lots of pressure. I have to move constantly it seems like, or I feel like my body is gonna get stuck in that position. Sleeping is nearly non existent, and I have the worst Charlie horses when I'm laying down. There is starting to be pressure everywhere. Seems like I've just been miserable these last few days. My feet are so swollen that it literally hurts to move them, standing, sitting or lying down I wanna cry when I have to move my feet. I'm gonna talk to my doc about it tomorrow at my appointment. I hope I can get some relief soon. I'm ready to start nesting.

I'm sorry to hear you're going through such a rough time. I hope your OB has some advice for you so you can start feeling better. Keep us updated on what s/he says.
Also, the best lame cure-all advice I can give is to increase your water intake, couldn't hurt...and because I have this symptom too, what kind of dry skin are you experiencing?
  • Feeling pretty crappy today: nausea, headaches, breathlessness and dizziness. I just started taking finger pricks 4 times a day for my pretty new GD diagnosis. All I want is a massive piece of cake!! Oh well, 30 weeks today!!! As long as baby girl is doing well.

Good luck to all you other ladies!!

I keep walking into walls. I don't get it - am thicker, but not like I'm that much wider. Probably once a day, I go through a doorway or turn a corner and catch my whole shoulder on the wall. WTF?!

I have been doing the same thing! DH keeps making fun of me for it. I have never been this clutzy! I also keep forgetting that I have a bump and try to sit or slide through narrow spots like I have done previously. It doesn't work that well...

Lol, I keep trying to step aside and flatten my back against the wall to let strangers pass/ come through the door first. They try to be polite and glance at my belly clearly in the way and wave me through. One guy looked at me, GASPED, and waved me through. I cracked up!

Yes! It's my new favorite show! DH and I watch every episode, it's hysterical!

When I get this bad, I take a Tylenol pm which will knock you out and is safe fir pregnancy. The only caveat is that you need to be able to get a good 8 hours of sleep for it to wear off so if on a work night, take it early!
  • Feeling just as bad. My heels are killing me. They throb all the time. Even got bigger memory foam Sketchers for some relief, but no such luck. My ribs and hips feel like they're caving in when I'm trying to sleep. The Charlie horses are horrific. My legs are so stiff no matter how much I stretch, walk, sit or lie down. Let me know if you find any relief. So excited about my baby boy, but can't get over the fact of how miserable I am.

I hope this works for you, sweetie! I'm thinking about you.
  • Feeling full, a little heartburn, but the worst is the vaginal pressure! I am carrying very low, and I feel like my little one could drop out any time I stand up from a sitting position. 10 weeks to go. Baby needs to cook a little more, so I'm hoping the way you carry has nothing to do with preterm labor.
  • Had to leave work early today because my blood pressure was 149/106. Called the doctor and he told me to double up on the medicine he started me on Monday to treat high blood pressure. I'm resting now and will continue to do so this weekend. The doctor wants to see me on Monday. I'm 32 weeks and this is my 3rd. Never had complications before and I just hope that everything is okay.
