Anybody TTC for more kids than they would have before IF?
I had always imagined 2 kids (I am 1 of 2); but primary IF/RPL took me for a ride for 8 years and after facing the possibility of not having any children, I am surprised to find myself in circumstances such that I am preparing to TTC for #3 (DH is 1 of 3). Three kids would blow my mind, but then so did IF/RPL, so DH and I are like... why not? Half of me wants to be done with family building (and get some sleep). Half of me wonders about what the waiting little person (snowbaby) may be like. (All of me is amazed about SAIF. Whether or not the final FET results in a live birth we are complete.) Many of my IF friends are one and done, or two and -er- done. I can only think of one friend with 3 SAIF LC and she always intended a large family.
Feeling cray-cray,

Wow, I am surprised that there are many of us in this situation. I really thought I'd be a loner on this one, but not at all!
Mrs.AmyDylan, I am also in the "it's unlikely" camp (mine is 36% live birth for Day 6, PGS "no result" - RE recommends re-test during FET). Obviously preparing and committed if it occurs. I'd say I am complete with two, but last month I dreamt I had a boy.
mnj05, my DH also said he'd had three in mind from before IF, but given he's the quiet one, he'd never really said until I asked him (recently). Congrats on pg#2! A potential firecracker.
mayzie021, if it makes you feel any better, my final FET would be EDD age 44(!) - started TTC age 31. I know the clock is ticking (DH is older), but I have got to get some sleep before another FET (both my kids wake up overnight as babes). They say as we grow older lifting weights helps retain bone density - with two young kids, we've got that covered in our 40s!
Thank you all for your input. I suppose that means this circumstance is more normal that I thought or we are all cray-cray.
