Sharp cramping type pain on right side

as I was laying in bed this morning I've been having these sharp cramping type pains in my lower right side of my tummy and hip area that goes a little into the top/ front of my thigh. Has happened about four times or so. Anyone else? Any ideas?

I get those alot... My doc said they r just braxton hicks contractions... I am 31 weeks 6 days today... I get them alot throughout the day... I was told to drink at least 2 bottles of water and they will go away and not hit as hard... But if u get them 4 times or more in an hour call your doc or go to l&d to get checked... Hope u feel btr...

I've had this start in the last few days - feel almost like a pinched nerve and is mostly when I am laying down on my side and switching positions... They usually go away when I stetch out. I'm chalking it up to third trimester, but suggest asking your doc if concerned. I'll ask mine when I see him Tuesday.

OMG i am so happy you posted this...at about 730 this morning the exact thing woke me up ! Of course i started freaking out! I got up went to the bathroom and thought maybe it was just like a bowel movement ...i did go to the bathroom but still was getting the feeling so i figured it wasnt thaf lol thankfully they went away but that was a first for me so now im a bit nervous about real contractions!!! I hope u feel better!

yes! I woke up this morning and had a hard time standing up because of this sharp pain (it doesn't help that my bed is 4feet off the ground and I have to use a step stool

) I scared DH, he shot up so quick and yelled omg is it time?! Hahah. Not quite yet love.

Im going to be 30 weeks tomorrow...how far along are you ladies and whn did they start for you?FTM here so just curious

@paige0704 I'm 32+4 weeks. It started in the past week or so. Usually just when I'm sitting up out of bed or stand up too quickly. Sometimes when I'm changing positions at night.

I get it when I wake up in the middle of the night and I really really have to pee. I was thinking maybe it was my bladder pushing on an ovarian cyst? I'm not too worried about it. It always goes away after I use the bathroom. I'll probably ask my doctor if it is still happening in May.
