What do you like to drink

Before this pregnancy, I drank mostly water, a cup or two of coffee every day and an occasional soda at restaurants.  Early on I only wanted orange juice, then it changed to dr, pepper, then sweet tea and now I'm onto cranberry and pomegranate juice.  lol.  Has your typical drink changed since getting pregnant.

  • The only real changes this time around are that I had to switch to decaf iced tea and cut down to one cup of coffee. lol With my oldest, I couldn't stop drinking pineapple juice.

  • I drink ALOT of Gatorade & lemonade! My dad is obsessed with cranberry juice so we always have some but I got over that very quickly, haha
  • I drink water and a couple cups of tea a week and apple juice if I get really "backed up"
  • I drink a lot of water but when I can get It I love some lemonade! I never could finish aglass before I got pregnant now I can down a glass without realizing it. Chick-fil-A diet lemonade and chili's strawberry lemonade are amazing! !! Oh and I can't drink black coffee anymore. I have to have half and half or milk.
  • MILK!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't get enough of it. The funniest part is that I hate milk. I never drank it, now I could chug it all day long. I also can't drink soda. Anytime that I drink soda I get very nauseous. I've been drinking unsweetened iced tea if I need a little bit of caffeine to get me though the day.

  • Cherry 7up and apple cherry juice with sprite. I never drank pop before I got pregnant.
  • I crave ice cold water and I can't get enough fresh lemonaid! I rarely ever drank lemonaid beforehand

    Chocolate Milk has been my biggest craving lately! I'm lactose intolerant so I can't have milk but since I've been pregnant milk and chocolate milk are what I crave. I need to have a glass of it at least once a day.

    The other drink I crave is bottled water. I drink 4 to 5 bottles a day! I feel terrible for all the recycling but I have to have it! It doesn't taste right from a Brita filter or the tap.
  • I normally drink tons of water but since being pregnant I have to force myself to drink. I do best with juices like Gatorade and grape juice and cranberry juice. I can downnn lemonade. Especially the pink lemonade at subway. I think it's hi c. Now that I'm feeling a littler better I try to cut back on all the sugary juices and stick to ice water.

  • Club soda with lemon has been my go to beverage, before pregnancy I liked limes and now I only want lemons. Or my mock tails! 1. Diet Ginger ale with grenadine. 2. Lemonade with grenadine. But it has to be Natalia's Lemonade. Best stuff on earth! I also love Zing Zang Bloody Mary, mix super chilled with olives.

    I work at a country club with a bar right next to my office so my options are endless. (As were they when I could drink hehe ;) )

    MILK FOR ME TOO!!! Lol I hurt I crave it so bad!!
    And the powerade slush from sonic!! Thankfully I don't live too close to a sonic!!
  • Coconut sweet tea, I get one almost daily
  • The only way I can drink water now is with tons of ice and through a straw, idk why. I'm also loving the v8 splash berry juice and blue powerade zero!
  • I'm super into carbonated water with lime and mint, or lemon, over ice.

  • I'm with all the lemonade people! It's all I want! I got one of those Minute Maid squeeze bottles and I add three squirts to a liter of water--I go through 2 a day!
  • I've had full on cravings for ice water since like the second month. It was so nice during the morning sickness phase and the craving has such with me. I'm also loving on orange juice and pink lemonade, but because crashing sweet liquids are a side effect of a medication I take I've been trying to churn that. Still manage to go through a carton or two of orange juice every week or so though
  • I am sooooo thirsty with this pregnancy! I don't remember being like this the last two times. I have to have ice water close at all times (I usually have one cup of it on my nightstand and another on the kitchen table). I still like a cup of coffee in the morning, so I don't skip it. I've also been drinking orange juice, lemonade, milk, and the Peach Iced Tea from McDs. I'm with @ktbkitten I didn't like milk before, but now it's like my body knows I need the calcium (and Vit C with the OJ)!!!
  • Simply Raspberry Lemonade, freezing cold ice water, and milk (sometimes chocolate)! Luke warm water disgusts me now ... I want it super cold with tons of ice!
  • Oh yeah, and I'm totally on the Gatorade/Powerade wagon. Red & Blue. Slurp.
  • I've wanted root beer & lemonade with all my pregnancies. I didn't like them before though.
    And right now I would love a slurpee! I had one this weekend for the first time in almost 10 years. It was awesome.
  • Root beer!!! I had a bottle of Stewards root beer when my parents came over and my mother screamed at me thinking it was real beer! I was like uhhh no mom! I also have been brewing decaf iced tea which I have in the morning. I've been trying to limit myself to 2-3 non water drinks a day and the rest is all water. I do look forward to the weekends though when I treat myself to a decaf iced coffee from Dunkin!
  • Before I got pregnant it was Coke, coffee and wine. In the beginning of my pregnancy it was all Ginger Ale and maybe some Sprite. Now it's mostly Gatorade, water and some Ginger Ale. I don't drink Coke anymore and the smell of coffee still makes me sick even at 18 wks..and sadly no wine for right now either!
  • Flavoured water, sweet hot decaf tea mmmm lemon & lime juice (for craving purposes) and lots of water...

    Oh and flavoured milk yum! :-)
  • Chocolate milk and raspberry sweet tea from Sonic. Just texted hubby and ask him to bring me French toast sticks and raspberry sweet tea from sonic!
  • Yes-I never drank sparkling water but now I do. It just makes me feel like I'm drinking SOMETHING while everyone is having vino or cocktails! Also the bubbles are great
  • I've been wanting Orange Fanta a lot. Or Shirley Temples. ❤ yum

  • I'm mostly stuck on OJ, gatorade, and ice water. Root beer sounds soooo good. I may have to stop on my way home from work to buy some root beer & vanilla ice cream lol :)
  • I have never been a soda drinker, I am stuck on sparkling water or seltzers with flavor. I love the carbonation!
  • I make big pitchers of raspberry lemonade. I buy the Minute Maid concentrate and mix it with sparkling water. The "sparkling" makes me feel like i'm drinking a cocktail. I can't keep enough in my fridge!

  • Lemonade too!! Love it mixed with OJ & ice! Also craving Dr pepper - trying to only have a little of that, maybe 1-2 a week.

  • I'm pretty much a just water girl but I did find I wanted anything citrus or sour, including drinks, in my first trimester. I made a drink with sparkling water, lots of cranberry juice and half a lime with some stevia--it was so sour and so delicious!! But now heartburn is saying only water again.
  • Oh my goodness, I drank a huge ice cold glass of black cherry kool-aid just now and I'm in love!!!
  • La Croix sparkling lime water mixed with orange peach mango juice! MMM.
  • Water I can't get enough and spicy v8 juice YUMMY !!!
  • Sparkling water with squeezed lime in a champagne flute. It's my pregnancy cocktail cheat!
