Argh, we spent 4 hours at a car dealership and left empty handed. Like we have more weekends left to deal with this sh*t. We had literally gotten through the entire negotiation and were in the midst of paperwork when they realized that oops they had only one car left and it was in a color we did not want. We had been super flexible but I guarantee they were mad we tried to hold them to a price in their online advertising and they didn't want to make the deal. I ended up bawling. I don't think a crying pregnant lady helped their business as people were coming in so I'm pretty glad about that at least. But it's the second nice day we've had in Boston, I spent it indoors, we have SO MUCH else to do in 8 weeks and I really needed this to just work out.
Booo. that really sucks. But at least you scared away other potential customers, and that gives me a savage glee. :>
Oh just an update: we came home to our boiler leaking. What a day! DH now has to stay home tomorrow to fix it or wait for the maintenance guy. Our employers must love us right now. At least Game of Thrones is back or else the whole day would have been a loss!
almost lost it at walmart today. DH and i went there to buy some stuff for the crib, and because we were there already (closest one is an hour from our place) we were in the car section looking at different things for his car, and a few metres away in the bicycle section there was a couple ignoring their child (who looked about 4) who would not stop ringing the bells on the bikes and honking a horn she was holding. it went on for over 15 minutes and could be heard halfway across the store. i almost freaked out. so many people were getting annoyed. some peoples children.
Re: Eff it Friday: complaints and gripes!
Tomorrow has GOT to be a better day for you. And hooray, GoT!
edit for spelling
That's generally the way things work, anyway.
Also, I totally get Monty Python references. Y'all should give young people more credit.
