Anyone else have their shower this weekend?

I had mine and I've been soooo stressed about it because my mom planned it and can be super absent-minded/socially awkward. She was also telling my about all the bumps along the way with planning. I was worried it was going to be an embarrassing disaster. It ended up coming together really well and I really enjoyed myself! My only complaint was that everyone kept telling me how small I was and how little my bump is! I wish people knew that that is actually not a great thing to say to a pregnant lady! Oh well.

I had one two weeks ago and one more on Saturday. I too was made aware of all of the bumps and bruises along the way as for the last one but the shower for this weekend will be much more relaxing because the host is an excellent planner.

I had mine this past weekend. It went really well. My mom and sister hosted and everything went pretty smoothly and our friends and family went above and beyond for our little boy!

I had my last one yesterday and I'm exhausted!! I usually try to rest on the weekends and that didn't really happen with the shower. Now I'm paying for it! I'm very grateful though, it went well and I got some really nice stuff! Just glad they're all done!!

I had both of mine this weekend, and it was a little overwhelming but kind of nice to have them both at the same time, so we could unpack everything and get it put away. I definitely have some lovely massive cankles today from being up and about so much.

THIS!!! except I only had the one, but since it was out of town I had to visit with all the family that lives around there all day Sunday. So needless to say my house is even more of a wreck than before. But oh well.. this overwhelmed mama just cant deal with it yet, I need a few days to recuperate before unloading/unpacking (just to repack it for the move in 2 months YIKES!)

I had one about a month ago at work, a family one 2 weeks ago, and I think the people at my husband's work are doing something on Monday for him.

I had a shower thrown by my friends this past weekend, it was a beautiful time. I got the same comments about how small I am! I don't know what to say, I eat ice cream all the time! Lol.

I have mine this weekend and I'm really excited- my family and friends are too sweet and are putting on a fun little shindig (I'm less excited about presents and more just about seeing everyone and spending time with them). I'm a little nervous too though because I have a manual version scheduled for Friday (I'm sure I'll be fine but having not done it before it's been on my mind just a lil' bit).

I have three coming up in ten days - starting next Sunday. Already booked my OB appointment for the day after the third one, and am taking the WHOLE day this time to recuperate, rather than just rush out a bit early from work to get to the appointment. Also looking forward to gathering with everyone! It should be fun!

My Mom and best friend gave me and hubby our one and only shower yesterday, which was co-ed! 80 of my friends and family in one spot, it was awesome. We have more than enough, everyone was so generous. We feel so grateful. We have about $700 in gift cards to BRU, and plan to go and grab some things from our registry that we did not get, and stash the rest for future needs.
