Eczema and vaccines

Today I was told by a friend that I shouldn't give my son vaccines until his eczema clears up because it could become worse. His next check up is next week. He has really bad eczema on his face and nowhere else. He scratches so much that his skin is raw. I can't put him to bed without socks on his hands. I don't want to see him get worse. For those of you who have babys with eczema and are giving them vaccines, does the vaccine make it worse? I really appreciate any info thank you!!!

    Mine has eczema but he's 1 and I take him for his vacs. His hasn't got any worse. He only has it on legs tho not bad at all.

    Is your friend a doctor? Baby's pediatrician? If not...I would recommend you take medical advice from a doctor.

    My eldest has it (just turned 3) and vaccine's didn't affect it at all.  Heat changes (weather) do the most damage.

    My LO has eczema and got his vaccines on Friday, his face has been healing up the last week or so and the shots had no effect on it.
    Try Aquaphor a couple times a day on the eczema. It's the only thing that will clear my LO up. Works wonders!

    Our almost 4 year old son has eczema along with MW and from what we have seen and experienced, vaccines don't affect eczema.  Ours get worse in either dry weather or hot, humid weather.
