Eff it Friday: complaints and gripes!

Let's complain about things and for a bonus, how are you dealing with it?

For me, it's rainy and I'm on a stupid crowded train to work right now. So I paid for parking really close to the station so I didn't have to walk. Then bought a half-caff Dunks coffee and a sprinkle donut. Cuz eff it, it's Friday!

    2 weeks left in my semester and I have so much left to do! I have made a lot of progress on my to-do list but the fact that my weekend is totally booked (for a good reason - baby shower!) is definitely going to put a stumbling block in my homework schedule. As for how I'm dealing with it, I guess I'm just going to get work done while I can and enjoy my time with family and friends! Like I said, this definitely isn't ideal for my schoolwork, but I'm going to have a great weekend so it's not really all that bad... though I'm probably going to be very stressed Sunday night.

    I've been up all night with a temperature and throwing up :-( I feel like I got hit by a truck and to top it off my baby shower is tomorrow! :-(

    Oh no!! Feel better! Rest up today, hopefully you'll be in better shape for tomorrow!

    I woke up with a sharp pain in my shoulder blade. Figured if I called out of work it would wind up going away right away. Drove an hour to work and it was worse. I work with special needs peek students in an elementary school. Stopped at my nurse office for suggestions. She told me that the main nurse was on her way in and if she heard about it would call 911. Apparently she calls them for everything. So I tried to go to my classroom but was so worried about trying to work with the kids I decided to leave and drive an hour back home. Fun morning

    One of our cats has been, for lack of a better term, shitting outside of any of the three litter litter boxes the last few weeks.  She's pretty old at 18-I'm trying to get my husband to bring her to the vet to check her out and see if there is something health-wise that is causing the issue. We have tried multiple tips and strategies over the last few weeks to figure out the cause or to get her to eliminate the behavior, but nothing seems to fit/be the cause of her doing this.DH keeps delaying bringing her to the vet, and I know it's because he doesn't want to face any bad news (she's his cat). Ugh.

    It breaks my heart but I can't deal with a cat constantly shitting all over the carpet when this baby comes. She's an indoor cat only, so no real worries about toxoplasmosis, but it's still unhygienic and unsanitary. She is crapping in the basement-we live in a ranch with a finished walkout, so it's technically the whole other living area downstairs, and it's nowhere near the nursery upstairs, but it still worries me. So who knows what will happen. But it's my husband's cat, and he has to be the one to take the reigns in regards to her and her health. I don't feel it's my place-at this point-to do anything other than tell him he has to take her to the vet.

    Feel better @casey06022015!! That sucks. :(

    @FloGirl82 it could be something as simple as she is so old she is arthritic and its hard and painful for her to get into and out of the litterbox, and to squat to poop. That would not be uncommon. If so, the vet can recommend a joint supplement and that may help. Hope its something as easy as that and that hubby takes her in soon so you guys can resolve it! Also, if you mention the arthritis and pain / discomfort angle he may feel bad about her hurting and be more inclined to bring her in. Good luck!

    Eff the pressure in my vagina which hurts like I'm getting punched there every time I stand up...

    Dealing with it...by crying to my husband...he's so nice to be right now and I'm taking advantage. And snuggling my sweet step daughter as she prepares for her state test. And  focusing on my sweet baby boy kicking me and wiggling. I have my 4D ultrasound Sunday and if I can just make it until then without a meltdown I will be happy. 

    My jeans still fit too! And I have 10 weeks left!

    See...I think people are used to seeing tv/movie bumps and naturally I don't fit into the Jennifer Aniston wearing a fake belly and being "39 weeks" image they have.

    Currently sitting at the lab doing the three hour glucose test. If that wasn't bad enough the guy directly next to me just took his shoes off. Hopefully he'll be gone soon.... :(( :-&

    I don't know how the Duggars had 19 kids!!! I'm on my 6th pregnancy and I'm over it!! I have 6-7 weeks left, and I have zero patience these days. My everything hurts, and this headache that won't go away. I'm just ready for my little guy to be here. Eff it!!!! :)

    I'm a high school history teacher and I was so exhausted and grouchy during one of my classes. Everything drove me insane today!!

    I have been sooo sensitive to my husband's breath lately! I was convinced he wasn't brushing his teeth (he swears he hasn't skipped once), and now he uses mouthwash pretty much every time he comes in contact with me. I feel bad because I'm pretty sure I hurt his feelings when I kept dodging his breath... but to me it absolutely reeked. I'm crediting scent sensitivity due to pregnancy with this one!
    Seriously! I really thought this smell sensitivity would be done by now, but alas it has only increased. EVERYONE'S breath smells putrid to me! I feel awful because my son is cuddling with me and I can't even look at him if he opens his mouth. Yuck!

    My best friend dates an absolute twat who I cannot stand. They got into yet another fight, but she won't break up with him. They don't live together and she is 31. Move on!!!!! Gah it baffles and irritates me to no end. She now says she has a horrible life. She lives on the private lake owned by her parents, has a really good job teaching at the high school we graduated from, and has never/will never worry about money (her parents own one of the largest farms in Ohio). How can life be that bad?? I just don't get it!!! I grew up very poor so maybe I just don't know how to sympathize.

    What I'm doing about it is telling her that man is by no means welcome at our shower. It's coed and mainly just a big celebratory cook-out, but I'll be damned if I'm going to spend that day being fake around him. He attends almost no friend functions anyways, so I guess it shouldn't be too big of a deal.

    Ugh. Betchfest over.

    We are passing a virus around our house and it's full of snot, coughing, dry lips and mouth.... With a side of puking. It started with me and went around the horn... And came back to me. I'm over it!

    I had a lady at walmart (who was huge) pushing her severely obese husband into the store in a wheel chair look at me and said to her daughter "look at her wobble wobble wobble" and then I cried in my car for an hour. I hate people :( then my husband brings he home fried shrimp and a baked potato and I end up with food poisoning. Now all I want to do is sleep but im stuck at work :(

    Yes yes they are! I had so many things I wanted to say to them but my pregnancy hormones only wanted me to cry. So I wobbled to my car (lol)

    Found out about a whole bunch of changes at work this morning and totally stressing about them. After our meeting I just wanted to go home.

    ETA: also annoyed with DH and his friends. Every year, usually in June, him and his buddies go on a weekend golf trip. They call it the broken iron challenge and have made this crappy trophy that gets passed around and one of the rules is that they have to play on a course they've never played and it can't be in a county that touches the one we live in so no one has the chance to scope it out. Obviously they won't be going this June and are planning to have it later. He has told them his not comfortable leaving me overnight with a new baby but the past couple of nights they keep texting him asking when he can go and are overly concerned about when they can play. Two of the 3 others have 3 kids each and I guess have forgotten what it's like to have a newborn. The other doesn't have kids or a clue. The other thing is that all of them are from the same area as well as their wives so they have family around. I have DH'S family, but mine is nearly 2 hours away and I get sick of being left alone. He doesn't get why this annoys me.

    @hoodoll82 Totally craving a sprinkle donut now...
    Have a really bad headache and hip pain because I went on a psychotic cleaning spree because DH's pillow smells like it died a horrible death and I don't even know how that's possible considering that the man showers twice a day.
    So now I'm starving and waiting on my noisy stackable (yay apartment living) to hurry up so I can take a nap.

    This is more a irrational worry, but I went out for drinks with coworkers and even though I ordered mock tails, I have a fear the bartender misunderstood the order and put booze in. I didn't taste alcohol but I'm feeling a bit fuzzy. It's probably just that this was a very long day but I'm still paranoid!
