NPR: bed rails for toddlers/kids

Currently trying to decide on bed rails to purchase for when I convert DS' bed to full size. Any moms have experience with any particular types or brands? There are the mesh ones as well as ones that are foam or blow up and go under the sheets... Too many options are overwhelming!

  • We use the mesh one. It's kinda a pain when I try to get out of his bed after story time and snuggles at night, but it's safe! It'll be easier when I'm not pregnant.

Yeah they do seem a little annoying but I was leaning toward them since they seem the most secure.
  • I had a mesh type one as a kid because I would roll out of bed and hurt myself otherwise. I used it until I was about 9 and it's still in decent shape. My mom kept everything just in case.
  • We use the mesh one. My husband didn't think she would need one but we are so glad we got it, because she snuggles right against it all night. She would be on the floor.
