FTM. Baby girl due at the beginning of June. DH has 2 boys. Located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I've been on for a while but really can't seem to figure the mobile version out very well and to be honest some of the "alumni" seem to get a little mad at newer women so I haven't ever really introduced myself. I don't know what a ticker is. Or a siggy. And most of the shorthand stuff just gives me a headache. My brain only has so much room for shorthand and the army has taken that space already.
you've got some good shorthand going in your post, ms. FTM with a DH ;-)
welcome, everyone! I'm a 31 year old American FTM living/giving birth in Germany. Will take maternity leave in the US and then relocate to England next year. DH and I have been married 4 years, together for 10.
I value the knowledge and support I find here, and have learned to giggle at the drama. A friend described it as "online reality TV, for better or worse" which I've always thought was a pretty good description. But I like this place way better than any reality show (oo, but House Hunters...tough call...)
@angeliquecara FYI there is also a 'Military Families' board in the specialty category since you mentioned you were Army. It doesn't get a lot conversation usually, but I check in there from time to time to see if anyone is being stationed nearby or Tricare updates, etc (coastie wife here)
To you and everyone else - welcome ladies! June moms rule!
Hey I'm Beth, 22 and expecting my first child, a little boy, the 20th of June. Been a member of the board for a month or two but never have really posted anything. Will be taking on this whole mother thing by myself as I will be a working single parent with no support from my son's father, so I will always be looking for any helpful advice
ETA: welcome to all the Moms!!!! Home stretch :-)
Right there with you doing it by myself as well... Have 3 years done in nursing school this May and one more to go! Power to the mamas :-) I'm also 22! @BethMarie1992
Hey hey! My name is Casey from Phoenix, AZ. I originally introduced myself back in October but wanted to say hello again. FTM, team green and EDD is June 3rd!
Welcome to everyone! Don't be nervous about the people who have been here a while. Poke around a bit to see what we've already discussed and how the board is organized, write legibly, have a sense of humor and you'll be a-ok here

This exactly! I was trying to figure out a way to say that we're not meanies and welcome new people, but my brain wouldn't compute words properly! 8-}
Hi I'm Erica 23 from Texas expecting first planned baby girl June 28th, married for 2 years. Just started posting because this is the only place I have to vent and ask questions other then family.
Hi I'm Barb from NH. I've been around for awhile but I don't think I ever introduced myself. I'm almost 32 weeks with my 5th baby, boy number 4. This is my first child with my husband of a year and the whole family is excited for this little guy. I have to say I love this group, some of the most supportive ladies out here through some of the toughest situations I've heard of.
Hey lovely ladies!! I used to post here a lot more in the beginning of my pregnancy, but then I got busy with a job promotion and some pregnancy issues, so it's been a while! I figured I'd reintroduce myself. My name is Kylee, happily married for almost 5 years and we are expecting our first child (boy) near June 18. We tried for 3 years to get pregnant and had a multitude of infertility problems. We had a less than 5% chance of getting pregnant on our own and were very "shocked" to find out I was pregnant.
I just wanted to wish everyone good luck and I hope everyone has a happy and healthy rest of their pregnancies!
Hello I have been here for awhile but have not posted much. My name is Amanda and I'm 20, I have a 2 year old boy and am expecting a little girl June 19th and also recently got engaged :x
Hi everyone- I've been reading a lot of the information on here, but haven't posted. My name is Anne and I'm 33 and a FTM, looking forward to the arrival of baby girl on June 3rd.
Hi I'm Rachel! I haven't been in this group for very long because I didn't know I was pregnant until I was 26 weeks along! I am having my first child, a boy named Brannick Louis, around June 6th. I have really enjoyed reading all of the posts and I hope to contribute more before he arrives! >-
Hi everyone! I did an intro but it's was way back. I don't post much, 3 kids and building a house so little crazy!! I have three ds-12yrs, 7yrs and 15months! Team green this time around. Due June 20 but dr is thinking he will take baby around June 5. All c-sections. Good luck to everyone not long now before we see our cute baby faces!!
Hi Everyone! I'm Eiryn, expecting a little girl 21st June. I live in New Zealand with my Husband and 2 boys 11 and 8. This one has come has a bit of surprise and I feel like a FTM again! Have had a bit of a tricky pregnancy this time around so have found reading through the threads really reassuring
@rqcollin247 you didn't know you were pregnant?! I've always been so curious as to how this happens....watched that TV show where people didn't know until they were in labor, and I think, how in the world?!! Mind sharing your story?
I've been here for a bit, was quiet at first and now I try to post more, but I'll give a quick into since there's so many new ladies
I'm Karen, 23 and I am a FTM. I'm expecting a little girl named Gabriella. I'm a military family, DH and I are both AD Army, we live in WA but I am originally from south Florida. Also, we have a four legged fur baby (Doberman lol) named Stomper.
I wish you all the best for the next few weeks we all have !

Welcome! And wow ! I thought I found out late at around 11 weeks lol congratulations!
Hi ladies! My name is Melissa, I'm 32 and expecting baby #1 June 21! I work for a Native American tribe in Oklahoma and I've been married for a year but been with my husband for over 5 years. We share custody of his 10 year old daughter and our sweet little one is a boy.
I've lurked and researched the boards a lot in the past. Recently I've been reading my Birth Month boards more and more and everyone seems really encouraging and accepting so I've been posting more.
hey all u ladies:) im ronda 24 yrs old and married....from MN. expecting my first on june 2nd, a little boy named John-David. ive had the Bump app for awhile just recently started posting a couple weeks ago.
Hello hello and welcome all you ladies! Glad to have you here! @mkpatterson I'm also a melissa (we rule!) and your due date is my hoped-for delivery date (due June 18)! You are due on the Summer Solstice! The longest day of the year! Would be pretty cool (I think, I'm a weird hippy chick like that) to have your baby on a celestial event day like that.

Thank you @mellymar!!! I am really hoping to go the full 40 weeks and have him on my due date. Everytime I tell people when I'm due they say "oh first day of summer" so yes I think it would be very cool to have him that day...the next day is my MIL's birthday so either day would be a win for me. Do you go by Melly? I've been "Melly" since college and that's what my step daughter calls me but people always think my name is Melanie so it's so nice to meet another Melissa - Melly

Its usually just Mel but I couldn't find a username that wasn't taken already with just Mel. I get Melanie as a mistaken name a lot. Also Michelle (which makes no sense at all) and freakily the most common is Martha. Wth?
@mellymar Okay that is freaky, on the telephone 99% of the time people say "Martha?" and I'm like "seriously, did you space out during the middle syllables and only listen to the 1st and last letter?"
@mkpatterson RIGHT!?!? I don't understand Martha at ALL and it pisses me off more than other name misunderstanding, for some reason. And half the time the Martha people will still hear Martha - even after I correct them! 'It's Melissa, actually' 'OK, Martha what I need to do is....' :-w
Hi I'm Shelby 23 and a ftm due on June 27, having a girl. Been lurking on here since the beginning pretty much. Didn't actually know I was pregnant until I was already 2 months along and they did a pregnancy test and said congrats! There was just so much drama on here when I joined and I didn't wanna get caught up in it and get stressed out over things early in my pregnancy. Things have cleared up alot so I'm going to try and post more now. Just wanted to introduce myself :-)

Hey all! I don't post much so introducing myself..I'm Erin, I'm having a boy EDD June 20th (first boy out of 9 girls between the 2 families) so his arrival is extra special and long awaited. We have a beautiful 12 year old daughter and a fur baby Siberian husky. I'm a high-risk maternity/maternal-newborn RN (did 5 years of L&D nursing prior) and have been off work since March....really going stir crazy and need to find a project besides shopping! Excited and ready to meet this little man
Bumping this for the newbies/lurkers who would like to interact more with board members - thanks for the reminder of threads like this, @a_bushey!
To those who aren't regulars but who would like to interact on here: you will have a MUCH more positive experience if you explore the boards a bit before posting (this especially applies to posts about symptoms you're experiencing). We are an established community and while we would love for you to join us, there are certain expectations that have developed here over the course of our pregnancies. When those expectations aren't upheld, we can get snarky (and sarcasm is frequent here, usually all in good fun, but if you can't handle it, this might not be the best forum for you to join).
In case I haven't introduced myself before, I am a married SAHM with a 13 month old daughter. Our little man, assuming he stays put, will be here June 30th. I am, as defined by OB/GYN standards, of "advanced maternal age", lol, but with the exception of third trimester pregnancy symptoms still feel like a spring chicken (most days). As a previously career-minded woman (a life as a SAHM was never something I thought I would be doing), I will admit it has taken a lot of adjustment, patience and flexibility, but I look forward to everything I might not have been able to experience had I continued on my career path. My life, with the exception of some personal hobbies and spending some alone time with friends, is all about my growing family. I enjoy the funny moments and stories I have seen on many of the recent threads and appreciate the diverse backgrounds and experiences others have posted.
Im due June 3rd with a precious baby girl. I am a first time mom and my husband and I are currently playing waiting game. I'm not a total newbie I used to post and reply in the early months of pregnancy then stopped. However I check or lurk the boards almost daily and every question I usually want to ask has already been asked and answered or I've done the research and googling myself lol you frequent posters are very entertaining and full of great advice! Wishing everyone healthy and positive births!
