October 2015 Moms

I just cried because . . .

After waiting two weeks for them to arrive, because my first order got sent to the wrong address, the shoes I ordered from DSW had to be returned, because they're too big!

I tried on some half a size down and tried regular width instead of wide. No luck.

It probably doesn't help that I'm hungry.

All I want is a pair if leopard-print ballet flats that fit!

What ridiculous thing have you cried about today?

Re: I just cried because . . .

  • I cried last week because I saw someone get hit on the highway. Wasn't a huge accident at all. Just a bump and I was bawling my eyes out... No idea why

And I cried watching the damn dugger wedding last week :/
  • Loading the player...
  • That's a good one! I'd cry too.

Last night I couldn't stop watching really depressing tv and so cried from 8-11pm with my husband pretty much laughing at me the whole time. I watched Call the Midwife (I totally cry at even when not pregnant) and then Cancer: Emperor of all Maladies.

Last Saturday, I cried during the last two minutes of the Badger/Kentucky Final Four game. I just knew they'd pull it off. I am a HUGE Badger Basketball fan (grew up in Madison, went to tons of games with my Pops) and I was just so happy and proud for these boys that I have never met!

I cried the other day because I missed the green light by my house that takes FOREVER to turn green! A day I was finally feeling normal...and I bawled!
  • I cried because i was bothering my husband while he was playing on his phone and he said.. you're annoying! Hahah!! Last week i also saw a dead squirrel on the side of the road and had a full blown 30 minute crying breakdown.
  • I cried yesterday reading everyone's Easter announcements with family. I was in the middle of a store having breakfast so was trying be all discrete about crying in public. Thankfully it was pretty much just tears and not full on bawling.
  • I cried last week from a Meijer grocery store commercial. A little kid left an Easter egg on an old couples doorstep. That's all that happened, it just got me.

  • This thread has me almost crying from laughing so hard. I love it.
I cried last night because my boyfriend had today off for Easter Monday and I didn't. We also watched Blackfish on Netflix this weekend (about the whales at Seaworld) and oh my, my tears were like Niagara Falls. I've been super sensitive to animals lately. I swear my dog is getting cuter by the day haha.

Call the Midwife should be banned for pregnant women! :) I was avoiding it because I KNEW I wouldn't be able to handle it and then my sister told me that the first episode of this season "wasn't that sad." So I watched it. Clearly my sister doesn't have kids yet and/or isn't as sensitive as I am, because I cried at LEAST three times while watching it!

  • I cried, hyperventilated cried, because I watched a TV show on fetal surgery. Why would I ever watch that pregnant but I couldn't change the channel. It was truly amazing what doctors can do. Their ability to make decisions in nano second, their personal strength and brilliant minds.
  • I cried over how well my 2.5yo was at my OB appt today. A 50 min wait for a 5 min appt and she was just so amazingly good! I felt so lucky/happy and just bawled when we got into the car.

@MamaOwl15, I'd cry over leopard print flats, too! ;)

  • Today I cried because I couldn't find my 18 month's pacifier. he needed it to fall asleep for his nap and I couldn't find it anywhere. So both of us were crying.
  • Today I cried because there was construction and lots of traffic. The traffic controller only let 10 cars on my side go at a time but 30 on the other side at a time. Then because I realized I had to go back that way to get home.
  • @nbear618 -- Hulu plus has all of season 4 of Once Upon a Time! :)

  • Yesterday I cried because I was very sick and sad that my husband was cleaning all by himself. I was bawling saying "I just want to be able to clean my damn house!" And today I cried because of a song on the radio. Not even a sad song. Ugh.
  • These r so funny, I feel for all of you. I've had a few meltdowns... Last week I cried because I was too tired to walk on the beach on vacation at 930 pm. I was just too tired and wanted to go to bed. Couldn't. Stop. Crying!!!
  • Because I'm watching dancing with the stars...
  • I cried a couple of weeks ago because someone shared an anti-bullying video about kids who killed themselves because of being picked on and all I could think was I hope my future child never had to go through that. And a tear falls down my face after thinking about it. Stupid. :'(
  • I have a karaoke business and when the restaurant manager told me to make a few adjustments to my routine, like wait a few minutes before I start and don't ask for water on the microphone, I released these big silent water drops from my eyes when my husband (who is also my right-hand) asked me what happened and I hesitated to tell him at first.

I also pretend cry when someone tells me something disappointing, like today at Panera Bread "we're all out of the wild berry smoothie," and when my husband didn't like my baby name choices...

    P.S. I'm NEVER this sensitive.
  • I cried on Easter when I was driving down the road and a lady was holding her daughters hand searching for eggs in their yard. It was so sweet and an instant tear jerker.
  • @ilikestars089 YOU ARE AMAZING! Thank you thank you thank you!

  • I cry almost daily because I love my husband. He thinks it's hilarious. ;)

YES!! I cried this morning because he made my lunch and breakfast and left it on the counter (he does this every morning and it totally makes me weepy) I called him and cried about how much I love him and how caring he is haha
  • I started to tear up when I saw my son picking his potato head toys (he has this one that's a big potato that is also a storage container for smaller pieces). I was marveling at how helpful and responsible he was being, and then I realized that he was actually putting the pieces away just to dump them out again.

  • I cried today because I was at work and felt stressed and didn't want to be at work today.
  • What isn't making me cry!? Just this last week: Frozen (when their parents die) the ending of Tinkerbell & the legend of the neverbeast, people's fb post. The hormones are real! Lol
  • I cried watching the end of the Furious 7 movie. Like full on sobbing for about 10 minutes.
