Hey pretty mama's! Hope everyone is doing good. What is everyone craving and what would you indulge in, if you were given a one day pass (meaning it wouldn't harm you or baby for that one day)?
I just want tacos food wise. I'm actually about to go get some, yay for taco Tuesday!
Right before I found out I was pregnant, I had the best strawberry mojito. It had a few chunks of real strawberries in it and some fresh mint... Needless to say, I would go have one or two of those.
I've read that soft cheeses like Brie are safe as long as they're pasteurized. So that's not totally off the table! (And tbh, I'm sure lunchmeat from a reputable store or restaurant is also fine.)
A couple years ago, I watching some daytime talkshow, and I'm pretty positive (it was) Bethany Frankel on while she was pregnant touting recipes for "mock-tails". She said that when you're pregnant you really lose the taste for alcohol. Buuuuuullsh***********ttttttt. I'm telling you, a marg would taste just fine, with those tacos mentioned above.
It's a pretty fat fish. Fat fish is to avoid. That's what doc said. They say the fish that has more fatty tissue has a higher concentration of mercury sooooo i do eat canned tuna, in olive oil and with a looooot of lemon juice.
@AnnamariauDoris Salmon has less Mercury than tuna. Significantly less. Wild caught Alaskan salmon is one of the better fishes to eat during pregnancy. It's high in omega 3s. Which are really good for you.
I'd be looking for a new doctor if I had one who told me not to eat salmon.
Hmm my salmon is always pretty lean, and it Definitely has less mercury than tuna.
I want raw sushi soooo bad. I had every intention of cheating and having a little spicy Philly roll, but my husband is being a total food nazi now. He asked me yesterday "did you eat enough protein and calcium yesterday?" Seriously?!?! Lol
Well here we have some weird salmon. I actually bought a bag of "salmon" that was very expensive and not salmon. I usually like it, but I ate before i knew I was pregnant and tasted...lets just say fishier than usual. So...i don't really trust our salmon that much.

Don't have it here. Probably in the big cityes. But it costs the road and probably the fish. It's around 20 dollars just the fish. About 60 the journey back and forth. The salary/month around 270 dollars....so...neh....not worth it. Sweet country of mine....
Clausen Kosher Dill Halves followed by a few sips of the brine straight from the jar and Doritos.
Omg...sorry but I just gagged at the thought. For some reason Doritos smell like feet to me and I have threatened my H with death if he brings them in the house.
Re: What Is Your Guilty Pleasure
but i dont feel pregnant at all and dont crave anything at this point.
