Team Green! Help with boy names...

Hey!
We have a ds that is named Knox and are having trouble coming up with boy names if this one is a boy.
We have our girl name picked out, either Sawyer or Emerson.
For a boy we have Greyson or Atticus but we aren't 100 % on either of them. Any thoughts? Thanks!!

Just use your girl names for a boy.

You likely are having a hard time finding a boy name because you plan to use already boy names on a girl. I say give those to a boy and start fresh with the girl list.

Out of curiosity, would you name your son Elizabeth? Or any other feminine name?

I like Greyson. I think Sawyer works well for a boy too. Emerson is a girl name.

Other names that work with Knox: Bryce, Grant, Landon, Reid.

Emerson and Sawyer are both masculine.

Emerson and Sawyer are both masculine. I would use one of those over Greyson. I love Atticus, but it doesn't seem to go well with Knox.

    So, boy Emerson or Sawyer

Emerson isn't a frilly, feminine name, but I only know girl Emersons. I would not name a boy Emerson. It's too popular for girls now.

Sawyer is a boy's name that has crossed over to become unisex, but I think it's still perfectly acceptable for a boy.

Just because people name girls Emerson does not make it less masculine. It is a masculine name, that is a fact.

In 2013 Emerson was given to 1,509 girls and 973 boys
in 2013 Sawyer was given to  683 girls and 3,142 boys.

Statistically, Emerson could be considered Unisex, as it is given to about an equal number of boys and girls.
Statistically, Sawyer can not be considered unisex, as it is given to a sizable majority of boys.

Emerson literately means "Son of Emery". The name literally means it's bearer should have a penis, when given as a first name.

Both Emerson and Sawyer are masculine names.

I understand the reasoning, but I wouldn't name a boy Addison or Madison either.

^ I've met a boy Madison. These names have the word "son" in them, which realistically should be enough of a reason to use them for boys. They literally mean "son of ______"
Please don't use sawyer or Emerson for girls OP. Just because people are meeting more and more girls with such names doesn't make it a feminine name. Just use one of those for the boy and think of new girls names.

I see 4 boy names. I'd pick Atticus.

I know 2 girls named Sawyer, I think it is cute! :) I like Greyson more than Atticus

Have to agree with those above. Emerson and Sawyer are 100% boy.

    Girl names to consider:

    Elizabeth
    Eleanor
    Emma
    Elaine
    Emily

    Samantha
    Savannah
    Susannah
    Sabrina
    Stella

I would use Sawyer for a boy. Atticus is okay too. I don't like Greyson simply because I've seen several kids named Grayson and I feel like people would misspell it a lot. I've only ever heard Emerson on a girl but I agree it sounds masculine as well.
