I've noticed ever since I've been pregnant my hair has been crazy !! It's frizzy and dry as anything !! And I've also been getting pimples !! I've never had pimples in my life, not even during my last pregnancy !!
I have been putting keratin oils in my hair but have to avoid my roots or my hair will look drenched ! I Don't know what to do with my hair anymore, a couple times I was tempted to chop it all off ! Haha
I've been using Shea moisture curl and styling milk. It's been a really good product for me.... My hair is often dry and naturally curly. Acne has been awful!!!
My hair has been an absolute nightmare! I normally have very straight hair naturally, but now.. If i want it to look halfway decent (not done, just somewhat decent!) i have to straighten it for ages. Acne is definitely way worse than its ever been, too. I keep washing my pillow covers and my face but it doesnt seem to help. Ohh the joys of pregnancy )

When I straighten my hair it's the only way mine looks halfway decent like you said ! But I still have hair that sticks up !!!

Me too, its awful to deal with. I have this awful section near my forehead, where my hair parts, that just sticks up no matter what i do! Been trying with water, holding it down with pins (it just escapes..) and yelling at it, so far no good results. Tell me if you find something that works?

At this point I'll try anything ! I picked up some keratin treatments ! I'll let you know how those go in a couple days haha ! I went as far as to try a tad bit of Vaseline ! But that just adds grease and doesn't hold the hair down like I thought !!
I keep breaking out all over. I currently have a huge pimple on the middle of my forehead. I've named him frank. And frank doesn't look like he's leaving for a while
Normally my hair is a big ball of grease if I use anything with the word moisture on the bottle. Or hydrate. Pretty much would look at it and my hair was a grease pit.
Lately my hair has been super dry, I can even use a shampoo with "lightly moisturizing" on the bottle AND a leave in spray conditioner. Haha. And it's been falling out excessively. I normally shed a little bit, but it has been so bad. If my hair weren't so ridiculously thick, I'm fairly certain I would be bald.
I thought it was just me!! So annoying! I have just been pinning it back into a bun. Acbr for me also!! Which is fun! I also seem to be getting a big on named Frank! Right in the middle of my forehead. I usually just call it my 3rd eye! Lol Right when I think it's going away, I get excited and 2 days later it's back!!
My hair became really dry and frizzy when I got pregnant so I put coconut oil all over it, left it for a couple hours and then rinsed it out. Since I just rinsed it, it was still really oily (don't do it when you have somewhere to go). The next day I shampooed and conditioned and my hair has been normal since. It may be worth giving it a try!

This. Or just just a little bit of argan oil when you style it. Moroccan Oil is really good and Beauty Protect and Oil is really good and smells amazing. Like a cupcake.

I'll have to try that ! Except the Argan oil, I have a slight allergic reaction to it ! But I also tried the raw egg and olive oil mask for 20 mins then shower and wash normally and still a no go ! Coconut oil and Moroccan oil here I come !b
Tell your doc to be safe this is a symptom of thyroid issues which can be harmful To your pregnancy if left untreated. Could be nothing but worth mentioning.
Have definitely had issues with dry skin and hair since I gave birth to my son 16 months ago, and now with this pregnancy it has yet to get better. I have started using coconut oil on my hair as a mask overnight (lay a towel down on your pillow or cover your hair with a shower cap..pretty I know The next day you might need to shampoo twice and then condition like normal and it has helped a bit.
My hair became quite thick and gorgeous as my first pregnancy progressed so I am hoping the same with this one.
My hair can't make up its mind. Superrr greasy at the roots, i cant go one day with out a wash even with dry shampoo. I use to go 3-4 days. The middle to ends are so dry and it all is just going crazy frizy and sticking out every damn direction.
I thought it was just me!! Lol. My hair is so normally straight that it looks flat, but in the past month or so, at my temples, its been frizzy and no matter what I do, I can't keep it tamed down.
My hair has been its normal long straight self. But since pregnancy and prenatals, my hair has been growing like crazy (which I love) and has been shiny and soft. No dryness or frizziness. And I haven't done anything different to it. I use tresme shampoo and conditioner and after the shower and my hair is a little towel dried I used leave in conditioner. I've always used these products before pregnancy and still use them. So maybe try that?! Idk
Yes! My hair has been such a nightmare. I'm glad I'm not alone on this. I have to straighten and blow dry for it to look semi decent. I thought our hair is supposed to look beautiful when we're pregnant???

I am curious to know when everyone finds out/delivers if you have a girl. Old wives tale says if you have acne.. Bad hair are signs of a girl. Just to speculate
I was about to post a q about this and then I found your thread! My hair is sooooooooo dry. I've changed shampoos like three times and nothing seems to work. Even after I straighten it looks bad and the tips look so light and just, dry as a desert. Usually I have to shampoo every day but if I do that now my hair just does not like it. Thinking of using coconut oil as a leave in conditioner. That will teach it :>
After my last pregnancy, I switched to Wen. I have always had trouble with my frizzy dry hair. It's not curly and not straight. It has to either be curled or straightened. I will not go back to shampoo ever. It has made such a difference in my hair! This pregnancy has still given me problems with hair and acne, but nothing like my last pregnancy. I actually cut off about 10 inches with my last one!
Re: Anyone else's hair super dry and frizzy ?

I always have bad hair so I don't really notice too much of a change there.
