Book Suggestion for C-Section Moms

Or anyone that wants to be prepared.

It's The Essential C-Section Guide by Maureen Connolly.

It's a very easy read, and not too long. It basically will tell you everything to expect during a c-section operation, recovery, hospital stay, breastfeeding and getting your body back. I am going in for my second c-section and I was way naive last time. It's nice to have a little refresher. I also wanted to learn more about recovery in the weeks following my c-section.

Re: Book Suggestion for C-Section Moms

  • Thanks for posting. I ended up with an unplanned section last time and I honestly did not have a clue what it was all about, since I was pretty darn confident as a FTM that I would be successful vaginally. This time I'm trying for a VBAC, but I'm thinking since my odds are only about 60% that I'll be successful, I should do a bit of light reading so I can be better prepared!

    Thanks again!
