10 from actual start weight but I think I should start at the lower weight that I dropped too when I cut out pop and started eating a little healthier for baby, so that'd be 16.
Last pregnancy I think I gained 25-30, and I'm pretty much on track for that again, which is average.

Each persons dr recommends a different number due to that persons body type and health. With my first dr wanted me to gain around 50. I was 17 and under weight in the first place so he expected me to gain extra weight for both our health.
For some people it's not easy to lose the weight after baby @JaneJane7 no matter how hard they try it never fully comes off. And how can you put a max on how much you will gain?! I didn't over indulge my first pregnancy and I gained 40 pounds and came out with only being 6 pounds heavier then I was pre pregnancy. But shit happens and I became depressed and had ppd so food was my comfort. Gained 20 pounds and still working my ass to get it off. And fyi....nobody looks the same after pregnancy!
Agreed. i didn't 'super indulge' with my first pregnancy or this pregnancy. actually i'm a very healthy clean eater. i only eat organic and non-gmo food. i don't eat processed foods, sodas or any sugary drinks really. i don't like putting garbage in my body. i think my body just likes being pregnant lol.
i guess i'm lucky though because my body did look exactly the same after pregnancy. i was right back to 98lbs within 6 months of having my son. so i guess i'll brag about that
At this point I'm not even weighing myself at home. I ask the doc if I'm in the healthy range and leave it at that. I lost the 60 I gained with #1 and know everyone is very different. With my HG I can't sit and eat fruits and veggies all day, it will just come back up. So I will exercise, eat in moderation and focus on weight loss when I can actually eat healthier. Pregnancy is about so much more than weight gain!
I'm 26W5D and I have gained about 25 pounds, and at my last appointment my doctor said that he would like to "see me gain a little less." So, I'm a fatty That's okay though its not super awful and I'm still exercising; I have just been drinking too much juice, no need for empty calaries during pregnancy ether I suppose haha.
I'm 24weeks... Gained 13lbs. I now weigh 185 at 5 ft even. Doctor told me to slow down due to my height. She said I will be very uncomfortable later :-q
24 weeks. I lost about 6lbs since the beginning and now I'm just maintaining my weight. But I had gained weight before getting Prego. And my doc isn't worried. Somehow my belly is big tho.
Gained 4 lbs at 26 weeks, I lost 7 with MS and gained that back and added 4 from square one, so I'm happy- doc says she will be perfectly happy if I only gain 10 entire pregnancy and I started out at healthy weight - 5'8" 150lb, you don't need to gain a lot of weight as long as baby is growing and progressing.
I'm 26w2d and have gained about 10 so far. I gained about 40 with my first and I'm really hoping to avoid that this time and am really trying to keep it closer to 30 this time.
I have gained 14 lbs at 24 weeks. The most weight has packed on in like the last 5 weeks. For most of my pregnancy I had only gained 6 lbs because I was so nauseated I didn't want to eat or puking all the time. Doctor told me two visits ago that she thought I should try to only gain around 20lbs though. I've been trying to stick to healthy options.
26 weeks up 5lbs. Dr is super happy with me, I'm actually measuring 1-2wks ahead. Our goal is no more than 15lbs gained. As long as baby is growing properly you don't need to gain a ton of weight.
I'm 26 weeks today and have only gained around 10lbs. I was very sick at the beginning but the doctor doesn't seem worried and my baby girl is healthy and growing!
Just hit the 27 week mark today and have gained 15lbs. Last pregnancy I was at 25lbs at the 27 week mark so I consider this an accomplishment (especially since my first LO was 9lbs!). Hopefully, I won't have to go through that again. Maybe I'm too worried about my weight, but I've been recording my weight every week to make sure I don't gain too much.
I'm 26 weeks today. I lost 7 lbs at the begining from morning sickness, but I've gained that back plus 7 more. So I guess 14, but I'd rather say 7 lol.
I've gained 11 lbs from my starting weight, but had actually lost 7 lbs in the first trimester... so it's like I've gained 18. Not sure where I'm supposed to keep count from though. The 18 lbs gain scares me, as I'm only supposed to gain 25 lbs throughout the whole pregnancy.
I've gained 7.5, but I lost 23 in my first trimester. Periontolgist says she's a little on the small side and we continue to watch her growth in our every two week ultrasounds.
I've only gained 10. Worried it's not enough but doctor doesn't seem worried, baby is fine. I just never feel hungry! Is that happening to anyone else??
I too have only gained about 10-12lbs and I'm 25.5wks Dr says everything on track so I'm not to worried
I lost 5 lbs in the first tri and have been struggling to put on weight. My weight fluctuates within a couple lbs of my beginning weight but baby is developing well and my OB is not worried.
Uh I'm huge, my dr doesn't weigh at every appointment- maybe coz last time I cried lol Someone said something on this group about swelling up like a tick when they are pregnant, and I thought "that's me!" But, I know I'll get it off- most comes off in the few weeks after birth I just wish I was more like my mum- she walked out of hospital in size 4 jeans the day after giving birth
At my appointment yesterday (24w3d) I was up about 18. My doctor told me it was technically a little higher than they'd like, but she's not worried based on my history.
To PP about their mom leaving the hospital in size 4 jeans, I couldn't believe when my mom told me she weighed around 130 at her heaviest. I started out at 135 and my doctor feels like 135-140 is a great weight for me when I'm not pregnant.
I am 26 weeks today and have only gained 5lbs. It concerns me every time I go to my doctor but she assures me everything is completely normal. Baby is happy and healthy. I work on my feet up to 10-15 hours/day so she says being so active at work is like I'm constantly working out all day. Eating right has been key-making sure I'm getting enough good fats, carbs and tons of protein in addition to my prenatal. I just have to keep remembering that if there was anything wrong, I would know.

That's me! I blow up like a tick when I'm pregnant! I gain about 60 lbs and am on track to do the same this pregnancy. Try not to stress. I was back in my skinny jeans in 3 months! Besides, my hubby likes having a thick girl for a little while! Lol
At my 23 week appointment I had gained 26 from my start weight, but I had some major water retention going on. Since then, I am up 23 pounds from my start weight. I know that in one weekend I had lost 6 pounds of water retention, but now I'm starting to swell up again. So it gets really confusing when I get on the scale.
I should just throw the scale out and just accept that I'm going to be fluctuating, and as long a our little guy is healthy and I continue to monitor my own health, it'll be ok!
Re: Average Weight Gain at 25 Weeks?
@sschwege it all shifts to different places lol.

Because of gd im restricted to what I can eat even if it's healthy stuff. Weight loss will come back around for me after this baby comes.
:-q
I gained 60lbs last pregnancy and at the beginning of this one was still carrying about 10lbs extra.
Towards the end last pregnancy I was really watching what I ate super close and still packed on the pounds
