I'm 31 weeks today and so I was reading over the bump's little description of what's going on... literally every single one of the symptoms is what I'm experiencing. Breathlessness? Check. Braxton hicks? Check. Even brittle nails, which I hadn't really concerned myself with too much because they're so minor in comparison to everything else, but yep, I've got them! But only 9 weeks to go and I know they're going to fly by!
I have decided I can no longer where heels to work. Yesterday my bump and lower back were in so much pain by the end of the day! I took a warm shower when I got home and it helped immensely! I'm going to take a warm pack to work today just in case!
I'm also looking into maternity support belts to see if they help. Does anyone have any recommendations of good ones? TIA!

I'm impressed that you were still wearing heels at this point! I still am wearing wedges, but they're like maybe an inch and are very comfortable and supportive. I can't even remember the last time I wore real heels! No advice on the maternity belt, sorry, but I hope someone else has something to offer!

Last pregnancy, I just bought a support belt at BRU. It was a lifesaver. Especially at night, when I was getting up to pee so much.
Woke up with a serious sore throat. I've already been sick with nasty colds 2X this pregnancy and I'm really hoping not to get another. It could be from dry air or snoring. Ha. Yes, snoring has been such a bad symptom this time.
Also, brittle nails, RLP's, horrible horrible chin acne, which I decided to pop at work this morning and don't have cover up. GAH!
I woke up at 2am needing to pee, and my hips were SOOO achey. Awesome.
But other than that, I'm doing ok. Starting to waddle a little during our evening walks, so DH and DS have to slow down quite a bit. DH seems amused.
I noticed I'm losing hair! It's not in clumps and I'm not balding or anything, but in the shower, I'm pulling out strands of my hair, it's all over the sink and floor in my bathroom when I style it, and it also builds up so fast in my brush, which I clean daily. Ahhh!! A quick look at Dr. Google shows that it's a common symptom in the 3rd trimester or after birth, but I have thin enough hair as it is! I guess all I can do is just make sure I don't start really losing it and just be more careful.
Has anyone else experienced this? Just curious. It's freaking me out-I've never seen this much hair of mine fall out.

ETA that I'm still taking my prenatals.
Oh no! My mom warned me that this was coming and I am so not looking forward to it. I usually have relatively fine hair but pregnancy has really thickened it up - I'm not looking forward to that changing!
I had the oddest dream last night that someone stole our dryer and hot water tank.
I'm sleepy at my desk this morning, had some awesome head bobs I'm hoping no one saw. Yoga was pretty laughable this morning, but I can still reach my toes- just can't see them anymore!
So sleepy. I actually rested last night and felt good till about 15 minutes ago. I feel like someone sucked all the energy out of me. It almost feels like coming down from a sugar high. My limbs feel like jello. I was 27 weeks Saturday.
Woke up actually hungry this morning which was a nice change over the last 2 days. I feel like all of the ailments of pregnancy have ganged up on me at once, after deciding to pretty much ignore me this whole time. Back pain, tired and not sleeping well, the acid reflux so bad it took my appetite and ability to drink water away, stretchy pains in my abdomen, and I've also noticed a waddle! S'cuse me - pregnancy swagger. What happened to me!?? Until a week ago I was sailing along calm seas #-o
Feeling incredibly tired this morning. If it's not insomnia or DH who has suddenly become a pain to share a bed with, it seems like errands and family stuff keep me up late every night, but I managed to wake up and put on makeup today and I'm going to do my best not to regret picking shorts this morning because DH's niece is having a surprise birthday party at the park and it's already ridiculously hot where I live. (I just feel self conscious and after being made to go swimming in an ill-fitted bikini a couple weeks back, I'm avoiding feeling that way again though I already kind of wish I had pants...) Overall, though like PP's where I could check off everything on the 30 weeks symptoms list, I feel okay and hope that today goes by smoothly.
I have been saying this every day, but I swear it gets truer every day... My belly is visibly bigger EVERY. DAY.!! It's incredible! I really like it, it is endlessly fascinating to me. I think I am in the best part of my pregnancy so far, despite how nice it was to feel "normal" in second trimester. I kind of like looking really pregnant!
I have cut waaayyy back on my food (and sadly, water) intake, which has helped me feel a bit better overall. Definitely feeling breathless though. And the brittle nails - huh. Yeah. Got those.
A lot of sleepless nights lately, waking up to pee and just tossing and turning for hours after. Also, the acid reflux makes it almost impossible to find a comfortable position!
My symptoms are pretty much the same. Peeing a lot, pelvic pressure, swelling, etc.
Yet today I am so tired! More tired than the usual pregnancy exhaustion. DS woke up at 2am. I think he's teething. Molars are probably coming in. He's been cranky, feverish and drooling like a rabid chipmunk. Fortunately frozen watermelon pieces helped. We eventually went back to sleep at 4am
Went to the doctor for a prenatal check up this morning and had quite a scare. Back track to two weeks ago at my last appt; my resting heart rate was 135. Doc seemed slightly concerned, but wanted to check again in two weeks. Today, my bp was elevated, but still within normal range (mine is usually low) and my heart rate was 130. My fundal height measured 2-3 weeks behind and doc also noticed I was quite out of breath. He ordered a growth scan, labs to check my iron and thyroid, a chest x ray to check for fluid on my lungs and an EKG. A huge weight was lifted when the ultrasound showed LO measuring perfectly. Everything looked great except he is breech. There's still time for him to flip (I'm 28 weeks), but that's still a bit unnerving. I should find out the results from the other tests tomorrow or Thursday. Praying it's just an annoying pregnacy side effect and nothing serious. So other than a bit of anxiety, my symptoms are my normal lower back and hip pain. Is it bad that I'm already totally over being pregnant and ready for it to all be over??
My hair has been falling out for the last few weeks. Nothing crazy, the same amount as pre-pregnancy (I've always she'd like a dog). But definitely missing that thick, thick hair from early pregnancy on!

Sorry for the poor man's siggy...ticker won't load regardless of how many tips I read.
I'm so sleepy. My back is also bothering me a bit. I also got my TDAP yesterday, and my arm is sore. Other than that I can't complain. I don't think I've had any Braxton hicks yet. I'm assuming I'd know...
The last week exhaustion has settled in ...it feels like the first trimester but now when I want to nap i cant sleep so i dont ever feel rested. So on top of already feeling dazed im so tired i am even sayin the wrong words here and there lol its crazy! Im kind of hoping the next 12 weeks go by fast!!
Brittle nails...check, frustrating because they were awesome long and strong as of 2 weeks ago (30weeks+3days today). Super exhausted too. I have the mini cradle maternity belt, it helps. Only good while standing, uncomfortable to wear while sitting.
I woke up in the middle of the night extremely nauseous. Every time I would attempt to move I felt as if I would throw up and finally when I went to the bathroom nothing happened. It was great (total sarcasm) ! I finally ended up falling asleep sitting up because it was the only position that didn't make me want to puke. It took me by surprise because I didn't get nauseous or anything my entire pregnancy and then last night happened. I'm hoping it was a one time thing!
Edited because only half my post decided to show up for some reason.
@JessMo09 there is actually a pretty active thread on that very subject going on right now. You should be able to search for it, but I honestly think it is still on the front page? If not, then it is definitely not any farther back than the second page.
I thought dry hands were a symptom but then I realized they are just the result of my bladder being squashed. We've been going through a ridiculous amount of hand soap in our house the last few weeks because of how many times I pee a day.
Been absolutely miserable the last few days due to becoming the lucky inheriter of a head and chest cold... Having all kinds of crud in your lungs is NO FUN when you also have a baby crowding your abdomen and asthma to boot. Other than that aches pains and the need to pee literally up to 10 times in 2 minutes sometimes... So much fun!
OK, mine comes with a PSA... several weeks ago I noticed a slight shadow above my lip, which has become progressively darker (though fortunately still hides with regular foundation). Yuck! Turns out, this skin discoloration is called melasma and is another potential side effect of estrogen, but aggravated by sun exposure. I haven't done research beyond a search on TB... but sounds like sometimes it will gradually fade after pregnancy, other times it has to be removed through whitening/bleaching..
So... don't forget your sunblock!

Such bad back pain! I can't sit for a long amount of time without being extremely uncomfortable. I have to take a 5 hour road trip in a month.. Not sure how I'm going to survive!
Is everyone experiencing Braxton hicks? Is it something I should have? I have yet to have them!

I'm experiencing them, but I don't think it's necessarily a good or bad thing either way - it's just a common symptom your doctor can confirm this at your next appointment if you want additional peace of mind though!
I get a lump feeling in my throat like I need to burp or throw up, then when I try to get it out of my throat I get this intense burning down my throat and my ears even start burning. The lump feeling actually gets a little painful. Does anyone else experience anything like this and what do you do to cope with it?

Sounds like heartburn, I think. If I'm remembering right, Monday's symptoms thread had a bunch of suggestions for OTC medication that's safe to take during pregnancy for this. feel better!
