Last week, one of my blood tests came back that I had a 1 in 92 marker that baby could have Spina Bifida. Husband and I were pretty confident that this was a very low percentage & that everything would check out normal. Well, our worst nightmare came true when we saw the high risk OB yesterday. It's not Spina Bifida...for some reason my placenta has stopped producing fluid & most of it has leaked out. Therefore, my baby has stopped growing and developing. Dr said he or she probably won't make it another week or two, even though there is still a normal heart beat. Because I am almost 18 weeks, I will most likely have to be induced to deliver my stillborn baby. We decided to wait one more week before scheduling this for some chance of a miracle happening. I can't believe this is happening. 4 weeks ago everything was fine and normal, and now they're telling me I have to burry my baby before it's even born! Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated!
