I've had a harder time with boy names! We like a lot but they don't start with an "A". So we are 99% set on Axel. Possibly Axel Rowen?? Anyone have middle name suggestions??

My husband likes Axel, I just wasn't feeling it. But Axel Cage sounds nice. Idk why but I love names that have fun initials since my dad always called me A.J growing up A.C. is pretty cool (No reference to Saved By The Bell intended!)
Careful now! I was told if I named my kid Cage they'd grow up to be a tattoo artist lololol
In all serious I really prefer Cage as a middle name, good call there. My SO is pushing for it as a first name but I just think it's a little too.....idk. Something!
I have a unique name & I am happy & live a very wonderful life!! It has not deterred me in the academic field or in my professional career. Sometimes, because I wanted to transcend above people's discriminatory feelings, I would use my first initial of my first name dot my last name on resumes and applications.

So you're saying that while you like your unique name, you are reluctant to use it when applying for jobs because employers may judge you on name alone.
This is not a vote of confidence for Team Youneek.
It's difficult to tell what name will be unique 5-10 years from now. Years ago I knew a mom who named her daughter Aisley, which I had never heard before. Now I know more than a few Aisleys or a variation like Aislyn.
My dad had a patient at the hospital named la-ah, pronounced la DASH ah. Ha not sure if THAT will become popular.
Geeze what's with the all the whining!? If you don't like what someone has to say take your own advice and ignore it! And bringing up another user's banning that's what I call Klassy! Cage is not a name and to say your child will wind up a tattoo artist with it is an insult to tattoo artists. Is that an insulting job to you? I agree with pp about nameberry.com as it is a site that has actual names that have an origin and everything.
Girl: Callista Celeste Asher (Callie for short, which I will refer to her as Callie mostly) and Celeste for my husband's sister who passed away at age 21.
