Spotting day after sex

I'm 5w6d and am experiencing light spotting today after bm. Husband and I had sex last night. I've read that spotting can occur after sex, but I'm still nervous. Anyone else experience this? First appointment isn't till 10weeks. No cramping and very light spotting only when I wipe.

    I had sex yesterday morning, then a big day and a flight out of town and this evening am bleeding. Bright red, no clots (yet), no cramping to speak of (though my mind is feeling every twinge), enough to soak my underwear.

    Having talked to my Dr., I'm supposed to take it easy tonight, go to an instacare (since I'm out of town) if the bleeding gets worse or if cramping gets severe, and either way go in for a look once I get back into town (in a week). She says it could be nothing, could be a miscarriage, it's nothing I did and there's nothing else I can do.

    Still, I'm terrified.
