Aslyn, Parker, or Alexis for a girl?

  Alexis is the only one that is an actual girl's name, so I chose that by default. Parker is a last name and masculine. Aslyn is not a real name.

  Alexis by default but truly start over. Aslyn is ridiculous and Parker is masculine and sounds like Park Her which isn't good for a girl.

  I'm not sure how you pronounce Aslyn, (Ash-lyn? Ass-lyn? Az-lyn?) but if you meant Ashlyn then I would probably choose it over the others.

  Regarding Aslyn: If you are wanting the pronunciation ASH-lin, I would suggest the traditional Irish spelling Aislin or Aisling. If you want the pronunciation AS-lin, that makes me think of the lion Aslan from Narnia, in which case I would just nix it.

  Parker is a lovely name. Aslyn has a Lord of the Rings sound, which isn't bad, either. Alexis is pretty common. I think Parker would be a great choice for something unique, so that is what I voted for.

  I think you have it misspelled there. lol Her spelling was 'Aslyn'. Otherwise, that would be a HORRIBLE name.

  Aslyn is a strange spelling but I like Ashlyn or Aisling.
  
  I think if a girl is feminine enough she can pull off a more masculine name like Parker. If she's a bit of a Tomboy, it may be a bit strange.
  
  Alexis is feminine. Not my style but appears to be what the rest of the community prefers.
  
  Name her what you want and not very many people will have these reactions once she's here.

  I'm also inclined to pronounce Aslyn like ass-lyn. I can also see where people would get Aslan, like from Narnia. If you're going for ash-lin, spell it properly- Aislin being my favorite spelling but Aisling is fine too.

  I think you need to spell it Ashlyn. I agree that Aslyn seems like Ass-lynn, and the Aisling/Aislin spellings aren't common and will be confusing/mispronounced.
  
  I think Parker needs to be left to the boys. And Alexis feels dated to me.

  Actually, Alexis is traditionally a boys name in most other countries, but yes, I agree that if these are the choices, it's the best one.
