BFP - then negatives... Asking for experience?

So let me start with saying that I know that I'm probably having an early miscarriage or chemical pregnancy - but I need to get this off my chest and maybe someone can offer me their experience!
I got a faint positive on Thursday - 7 DPO. My urine was very concentrated as I was very dehydrated that day. I haven't had pee that concentrated since. And I've also had nothing but negatives since.
All day Friday and a bit yesterday I had cramping. It was a dull ache but the only spotting I had was a single instance of pink tinted CM and that was so lightly tinted I almost missed it. I also started progesterone on Thursday after my positive as my blood work from Wednesday came back saying my progesterone was very low (they were looking to see if I ovulated, not if I was pregnant).
So I'm pretty sure that I'm out this cycle and my hopes for a 2015 baby are gone. But at the same time I've been spending a horrid amount of time on the internet finding that some women experience a very early positive, then days of negatives before a positive again. But most of all, I wanted to know if anyone here has ever had a miscarriage or chemical pregnancy while on progesterone? I'm worried that it's the only thing keeping me from bleeding
Other than that I'm relentlessly testing like an addict. Hoping I'm the exception and it's just a weird fluke and I AM pregnant and I can join you ladies 100%!

How did you confirm ovulation? Implantation happens 7-10 DPO, so honestly if you know you were in fact 7dpo (confirmed by temping) it might be a false positive...
